Pour is light golden with aroma of light hops. Taste is of spice and strong hops. Has a bit of a bite but is drinkable. Not bad. Probably not worth a special purchase but however is a drinkable brew.

Bottle. Aroma has honey, very light grapefruit notes, mild lemon. Flavor is american barley - round and bready, lack of nuance in the middle, good bitter finish with long lingering hop resin in the cheeks in the finish. I am constantly wondering how this would compare side by side with a good British pale like Timothy Talyor...

Tap at Burrito Loco. Hard to believe this one hadnít been rated yet. Pretty standard extra pale ale but with the hop lean Summit is known for. Fresh taste and solid lacing. A good fall back option and one non-MN folks should try.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Back in Minnesota for a visit. Had it on tap at a bar at the mall as an alternative to mass brewed. It was a good choice. Came out slightly dark amber with a nice head. Decent body with good balance of malt and hops. Nothing very complicated but worth a taste.

Dark gold. Nice white head and lacing. Well balanced hoppy pine taste. A good one to have as a flagship beer, but not the best thing in the world.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice white head darker gold. Some malt aroma. Front flavor is nice with a hint of malt and citrus, the finish with hop bitterness not as clean due to astringency.

Amber/Orange Color with a mild haze with a foamy head and good lacing. Aroma of baked bread, floral hops, biscuits, & barley. Taste is mainly yeasts, dry & floral hops, pale malts and barley. Body is moderate in weight and the carbonation starts out in the middle but mellows out. Good Pale Ale!
