jtw (909), farmington, Michigan, USA Jan 5, 2008 moderately balanced aroma of pale malt and resiny hops. orange-amber and lightly-carbonated, and beyond the aroma is a relatively mild brew, well-designed for easy drinking but it seems to avoid making a significant impression. medium bitter finish, nicely dry, and a pleasant, balanced aftertaste. certainly not bad!
DA (2375), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Aug 8, 2008 OBF 2008. Pours gold with a smooth white head. Citrus hops up front in the nose, crisp and medium dry finish. Body was a bit thin, but this still wasn’t a bad, nice balance to it, good hopped up pale. bluemooner (72), Rogers, Minnesota, USA Jul 31, 2008 Pours a nice golden color with very thin head. Distinct, bitter taste of hops, but quite drinkable. A pretty good pale ale. CheersBabe (52), USA Jul 31, 2008 Typical APA regardless of "Extra" being thrown into the name. Very light in hops for a pale, and ends little watery. Overall I would give this an OK rating. hero12 (40), USA Jul 31, 2008 Poured a golden orange color. Aroma was quite hoppy, but almost kind of skunky. Tasted hoppy and bitter. Decent overall beer, typical pale ale. jeffwilliams11 (249), hooterville, Michigan, USA Jul 30, 2008 pours deep copper with small head. flavor is mild, some hops, slightly metallic aftertaste. not too bad.
