Pours a clear, dark brown with small head. Roasted grain and malt aromas. Flavor has some coffee, some caramel, largely roasted gain. Some light sweetness. Finish is very smooth, no bitterness.

Had on draft at the airport. Great roasted malt coffee character. There is some caramel maltiness as well. Light and easy drinking. Not bad.

Pours black with creamy white lacing. Aromas are sour and malty. Flavours are coffee, cream, and dark malts. Good.

Dark and malty, nice sweet aroma. Overall a quality porter, though not in the upper echelon of the style.

Black as night without much head. Smells like cold coffee, tastes has coffee and slightly burnt toast - guess it would make a good breakfast beer.

Pours barely, see-thru black with ruby highlights. Thick, whipped, tan head. Scent is malt, coffee/chocolate. Taste is roast, ash-bitter coffee. Thin, but a nice solid porter.

Bottle. Earthy roasty chocolate aroma. Black brown with a large tan head, nice lacing. Roasty malt, chocolate, earthy/ashy flavor. Medium body, moderate carbonation.

Pours black with a head that dissipates into a thin ring. Aroma is sweet and roasty. Taste is roasty and smoky, but not the best aftertaste. Palate is really thin and makes it feel more bland than it is.

Tap: Pour is black with tan lacing. Aroma of smoke, roast, and malt. Taste is sweet but with sour hints that turns to a slightly bitter smoke aftertaste.

12oz bottle - pours very dark brown with tan head and spotty lacing. Nose is smoky dark chocolate. Flavor adds light coffee roast. Sweet with a latent unexpected sourness. Medium bodied. Smoky aftertaste. Decent but a tad light.
