3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 antisnobJP (275) - St. Michael, Minnesota, USA - AUG 2, 2009Bottle. Coppery bronze color-really not red at all, with a creamy white head. Very fresh hop smell with a sweet bready malt background. Very clean bitterness, not overlly bitter, with a light mouthfeel and a clean, slightly sweet fresh flavor. Dries out quickly and makes you want more. Very simple straightforward malt flavor with a very fresh hoppiness. Good no-brainer drinkin’ ale.

On tap at Capone's in Norristown, PA. I feel a bit guilty because I got an awesome free Summit pint glass for buying this beer, I really didn't enjoy any of the Summit beers I had that night. This was very wheaty tasting for what I'm used to out of a red ale, which was not a good difference in my book.

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Not much going on here. Drinkable but not very flavorful. Could work for a session.
