EHopper (80), Minnesota, USA Mar 22, 2008 Clear, dark golden color nothing special but no distraction. Thin hop and fruit aroma promises a refreshing taste. Taste has more bite and bitter than aroma. Nice choice for a always on hand beer.
IPAaLLtHEwAY (93), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA Jul 17, 2008 Gold pour , mild head.Lightly hopped and not as ballsy as some IPAs I have had. Fairly clean finish without much bite. Overall a nice priced session beer. $6.69 a six.
zeke626 (194), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Jul 14, 2008 Bottle, pours a reddish brown body with off-white head. Aroma and flavor of sweet caramel malts, floral hops, and toffee. Plenty of malts to balance the hops. Not as bitter as a typical IPA. ezyeric (4), Comstock Park, Michigan, USA does not count Jul 14, 2008 Bit of a floral aroma, somewhat earthy as well. Typical appearance, flavor starts out malty and then goes to the hops, but its nothing special, very typical IPA if not lesser. edden (886), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA Jul 6, 2008 7/6/08: Bottle. Mild floral hop aroma. Body is orange-brown in color. Flavor is sweet - honey and caramel with a fair amount of hops to balance it out. Finish is bitter and a touch sweet with a slight tin like taste. kimcgolf (656), Dacula, Georgia, USA Jun 15, 2008 Pours from the bottle to a hazy reddish-orange with thin off-white head that lingers thru mid-glass and leaves okay lacing. Nose is mildly hoppy floral at the outset, but gets stronger and more defined as the beer warms slightly. Mouthfeel of this medium biodied beer is slightly tangy, and the taste follows the floral route of the nose. This rounded nicely to a smooth finish.
All and all, not a bad beer, but it lacks many of the qualities--citrus hops and bitterness--that I’ve come to expect and appreciate in IPAs.
