3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft to taster. Looks good for he style; a transparent light copperish orange with thin off-white head that dissipates into lacing pretty quickly. Smells malty and doughy with notes of lager yeast. Tastes like it smells with some sweetness and a nice, smooth mouthfeel. A decent example of the style.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice craft Oktoberfest beautiful oranger copper color and nice light taste. Lite taste makes it much more drinkable than some of the heavier styles. For the price you can't go wrong

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at Barcade Jersey City. Pours golden amber with an off white head. Lightly sweet toffee, light earthy hoppy notes, and light grainy notes. Not that good, but passable at least.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear dark a amber color with a decent head that fades to bits of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, with caramel and bit of nut and citrus in the background. Taste of roasted malt with an ease caramel sweetness and bit of nut. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Moderate body, smooth and nicely balanced. and the 7.4% ABV is very well hidden. Enjoyable beer, nice seasonal offering from Summit.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from bottle. Faint malt and hay aroma. Clear amber with white head. I taste caramel malt, veggie and grass flavors, cane sugar Slightly watery feel. There is enough malt to balance things out. Also detecting pepper and banana notes. An interesting variation.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
A marzen with a lacy smooth head and mild aroma. Summit is sticking to its perceived plan which I would say involves staying completely middle of the road and trying to please everyone. That strategy invariably ends up pleasing very few people. Not a terrible beer but I won’t reach for it again.
