COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in the Märzen style, Summit Oktoberfest brings alive the famous European Fall celebrations. Summit Oktoberfest has a reddish-bronze color, a rich malty aroma and a satisfying smooth finish.

Tap. Light copper marzen style color with small head. OK lacing. Balance of hop and slight sweet. Crisp and fresh, right amount of hoppiness. Pretty good.

A marzen with a lacy smooth head and mild aroma. Summit is sticking to its perceived plan which I would say involves staying completely middle of the road and trying to please everyone. That strategy invariably ends up pleasing very few people. Not a terrible beer but I won’t reach for it again.

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Another subpar effort. Not very flavorful or drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Hazy orange with little head and lacing. Has a sweet caramel malt smell with some fruit. Caramel malt sweetness in taste with slight hop bitterness. Highly carbonated with bubbles rising visibly. Drinkable and sweet. Not bad for style but kind of one dimensional. Had at home in six pack of Marzens bought at Smooth Endings. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Local fall seasonal on tap at an Applebee’s. Underwhelming but average. Orange-ish color, malty taste.

Pours clear copper with an off white head. The aroma has smooth roasted malt, dry crackers, minor fruit and a touch of spice. The taste has crackers, sweetness, brown sugar, spicy hops and has more of a bit that most marzens. Medium / thin body with mild sharp carbonation. This finish continues with the dryness. Decent Oktoberfest.
