Heavy malted pour of moderate amber with light off white head. Nose is malted and sweet, moderate nuttiness. Flavor follows. It’s nothing spectacular but it’s nothing bad.

Amber colored with white head. Earthy, damp aroma with hints of sweetness, toffee, and nuts and faint floral hops. Smooth, sweet and rich up front with some lingering floral hops. Mediumish body. Medium carbonation. A solid Oktoberfest. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can. Pours amber with a white head. Aroma’s sweet malt, taste’s malt with a fall bitterness, it’s a nice enough oktoberfest.

Pour is a brown with a small white head. Aroma is a lager wet paper bag with a bit of toasted malt. Flavor is a better showcase of the malt. A decent, rich malt with very low bitterness. Finishes very clean and refreshing for a marzen. Could have used a bit more body to it but I guess this is a decent attempt.

Pours a nice deep amber color with off-white head. Caramel malt, roast, and some wheat on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more malt flavors.

Bottle at home from early backlog notes 07/08. Pours a clear orange amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have some caramel, biscuity and toasted malt, some earthy notes. Nose was pretty weak. Worth trying once.
