12oz bottle from Platte City Olive or Twist. Pours clear copper with a well-fed fizzy white head. Aroma is lightly-roasted nuts, fresh earth, and caramel. Flavor is exactly as you’d expect from an Oktoberfest, lightly sweet, highlighting caramel/crystal malts and just a touch of hops. The only thing holding this beer back is a slightly odd finish, with a bit too much metallic zing. Otherwise, quite nice!

Bottle. Copper with white head. Aromas of nut, toast, herb, flower. Flavors of nuts, toast, herb, flower. Slightly malty finish with hop back bone. Medium body with soft mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Could be fresher.

12 oz bottle from Brothers - Pours a lightish brown/red color with a nice white head. Smells a bit sweet with a strong malty aroma. Not a lot of hops coming through, but the malty flavor is quite good. A bit sweet. Very smooth beer. Nice.

On draft at Ike’s in the Minneapolis Airport. Orange in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are a mix of grainy malt, and a bit of fatter pale malt. Flavour profile begins malty sweet with a touch of caramel before finishing crispy and dry.Light bodied for the style. Fairly drinkable stuff, but lacking in intensity

Roasty and nutty flavors. You can taste the alcohol unlike most other Oktoberfests. Lingering aftertaste. Not awful but definitely not my favorite of the style.

A nice and smooth taste with roasty, nutty malt flavors. Hints of spice and perhaps a bit of citrus zest along with some hops in the finish.

Pours a light amber-orange with a thin layer of head that quickly dissipates into a ring with nice thick edges. Aroma is a os some carmel malts, a bit sweet, with a little bit of zest and spice. Flavor is malty sweet with some bitterness on the end. A long finish of carmel malts and a little hops that seems to linger.

Nice dark golden color, reasonable wispy sized head. Did not last long. Smell is bubblegum sweetness, maybe some cotton candy slight bready notes. In the taste, well there isn’t a whole lot. Kind of dim. Very surprising that it has that much alcohol flavor. All I can really taste is pale malt. Poor quality. I can see drinking a lot of this if you were out to get ripped, but other than that I don’t see any point to this beer existing.

Nice reddish brown appearance. Hints of nuttiness but I really didn’t enjoy the aftertaste, left a film in my mouth.
