argo0 (6176), Washington DC, USA Sep 13, 2005 (12oz bottle) Clear amber body with smallish off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, toffee/caramel, faint earthy. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel, some earthy, floral, cookie, light toffee. Medium body with some stickiness. No alcohol in the flavor, but you can sense its presence. This, and the sweetness, prevent the beer from being especially drinkable, which defeats much of the pleasure of drinking an O-fest. oh6gdx (5904), Vaasa, Finland Oct 9, 2007 Bottled (thanks drewbeerme!). Golden colour, beige small head. Aroma is hops hops, some caramel malts and a bit earthyness. Flavour is very much the same. Wellbalanced, but not the most interesting brew. Amber color, small head. Bready, ryeish nose. A bit caramelly and malty with American hops. Half a märzen, half an APA. Slightly sugary aftertaste. CaptainCougar (4637), Rockville, Maryland, USA Oct 5, 2002 A nicely rounded beer true to it’s style.
