3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Wow! Recommended by a special person at Mike's last night. A quite spicily hoppy rendition...thinner on the malt side that I nomally think of in a Bohemian. On draught and delicious. Great body.

Pilsners donít move me much , but this seems to be in character, but missing that certain intangible that the good ones have. I could get even vaguer, but try it yourself.

On tap In Saint Paul. Pale golden, definitely a pilsener! Nose was corney with some toasted barley and sweet floral notes too. Acidic and astringent, but clean and refreshing as result. not bad, I guess.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear gold. Thick, frothy white head. Rushing carbonation. Toasted malt aroma laced with Saaz hops and florally spicy notes. Bold and assertively crisp. Toasted hay malts and bitter hops provide balance. Clean, dry and cleansing. Light body. Toasty aftertaste with hints of minerals. Finishes with a spicy, floral, metallic mix and less malt oomph. Decent example.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Medium gold color. A medium bodied lager. Light malts but fairly hoppy. Good balance. Lots of flavor. Mouthfeel is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice and clean. Good mouthfeel with a pleasant aftertaste. Nicely balanced for the most part, if a tad lacking in hops presence. Overall, a solid effort worth trying.

I was disappointed in this -- slightly bitter and overcarbonated. Wasted my $6 on a six pack of this.

After a whole summer of drinking Pilsner Urquel, I was looking forward to trying this one. Summit is normally quite good. I found this very disappointing, the worst of the summit beers. It had the right aroma and color, but just didnít taste right. Bummer.
PS: Since writing this, Iíve had a couple in bottles and they were quite good. I suspect I had some beer from a dirty tap. Not a huge surprise considering it was at a popular sports bar.
