3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Wasn't sure what to ecpect from this one. Pleasantly surprised though. Good Czech style hops on the nose. A bit heavier that I would have prefered but it turns out to be quite nice...

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This was a great pilsner. It had a nice smooth taste that was sweet. Touches of honey that sat nicely in the palate. If your a big pilsner fan. This might be your beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear, golden color, full fluffy white head, softly settling.
Aroma, soft, smooth with floral notes, slightly honeyish, rather pleasant, this.
Taste: nice hoppiness on the palate, tasty and brisk, fading , then roundly drying out in the finish. Light bodied, sweet and hoppy, crisp and rewarding.
Drinks down nice and refreshingly, always nice to have this around when you're in the pilsner mood.

Dry, crisp and a tad sweet. Grainy aroma. Not much can be said about this. Decent.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Light golden look with little head and some lacing. Had a slight grainy/bready smell. A light acidic taste and after-taste

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I adore pils, and this is one of the better brews available. Great flavor and balance with a beautiful lacing and aroma. Good stuff.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was an add-on from the outdoorsman-trader, the Great Slikwily. I've come to find that this brewer makes nothing but great looking beer. This is beautiful. And it is also one of the best-balanced Bohemian Pilsners I've ever tried. So much good malt, so many good hops, and the whole thing works within the framework of Pilsner. Really wonderful.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAY 4, 2005 Eh. Certainly a fair amount of hops. Nothing spectacular. It doesn’t have any striking downfalls, except that it doesn’t stand out. I want to like it more, but I just can’t. 5-3-5-3-10 Re-Rated May 4, 2005: I finally had the chance to try this again, and this time, from the tap; Groveland Tap to be exact. This time around (after hundreds of beers in the interim), it strikes me as much better. The color is still a good light golden color with a solid head of foam. The aroma is a muted array of grains. It’s flavor is a good base of grains, but it’s lacking the noble hop kick that a great Pils should have. Still, better than most attempts at a Pils.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is an alright Pilsener. It really is more of a German Pilsner than a Bohemian Pilsner. A little thin on the malt sweetness and not as much aroma as I would like. Where is the Saaz? Dry hops would be great here.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
It pours a bright and clear golden color with a good sustaining head that laces nicely. The aroma and flavor were both low on hops and higher in malt. All very subtile. It is not a bad beer and would pick it over many others, but not my favorite.
