3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I adore pils, and this is one of the better brews available. Great flavor and balance with a beautiful lacing and aroma. Good stuff.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was an add-on from the outdoorsman-trader, the Great Slikwily. I've come to find that this brewer makes nothing but great looking beer. This is beautiful. And it is also one of the best-balanced Bohemian Pilsners I've ever tried. So much good malt, so many good hops, and the whole thing works within the framework of Pilsner. Really wonderful.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAY 4, 2005 Eh. Certainly a fair amount of hops. Nothing spectacular. It doesn’t have any striking downfalls, except that it doesn’t stand out. I want to like it more, but I just can’t. 5-3-5-3-10 Re-Rated May 4, 2005: I finally had the chance to try this again, and this time, from the tap; Groveland Tap to be exact. This time around (after hundreds of beers in the interim), it strikes me as much better. The color is still a good light golden color with a solid head of foam. The aroma is a muted array of grains. It’s flavor is a good base of grains, but it’s lacking the noble hop kick that a great Pils should have. Still, better than most attempts at a Pils.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is an alright Pilsener. It really is more of a German Pilsner than a Bohemian Pilsner. A little thin on the malt sweetness and not as much aroma as I would like. Where is the Saaz? Dry hops would be great here.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
It pours a bright and clear golden color with a good sustaining head that laces nicely. The aroma and flavor were both low on hops and higher in malt. All very subtile. It is not a bad beer and would pick it over many others, but not my favorite.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Somewhat faint aroma, with some maltiness reminiscent of Wonder bread or crackers, a dab of honeyish sweetness and some lightly floral hop. Straw colored, with a very fine, creamy head and matching lace. Flavor is on the malty side, once again just lightly bready and sweet, with some spicy, bitter, gently herbal Saaz entering about midpoint and mingling to comprise the finish. Effervescent mouthfeel and, of course, light bodied. For some reason I want to like this more than I do.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This beer had a medium sized white head with fine-small bubbles that fully dissipated. The beer's body was clear with carbonation present. The hue was golden and the lacing was fair. The nose was malty and hoppy and the flavor was chewey, bitter, tangy, tart from start to finish with a lingering aftertaste. The mouthfeel of this beer was tingly, fairly smooth and medium bodied.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This brew poured a medium head of mostly diminishing fine to medium sized white bubbles that left behind a fain lacing and a slightly hazy yellow orange colored softly carbonated body. It has a pleasant mild malt hop aroma and a smootgh bubbly mouthfeel that finishes with a slught tingle. The flavor is mildly hopped with malt and chewey bread.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pretty golden color with attractive white head. Clean, crisp pilsner with a well balanced hop finish. Very easy drinking and a great alternative to BMC.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Dark golden hue, a bit hazey, with a good, fluffy head. Smells lightly of malt with a bit of hop presence, very soft on the nose. Taste is a smooth offering of malty goodness, lightly put together with a paled hop bite. Could be a bit more bolder and bodied for this style, but was pretty good non the less. Has a good clean and smooth feel, a little light with a wierd, dry hop finish thats hard to nail down. Not bad, could be better good be alot worse.
