3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at pour house, copper color with a good bit of carbonation and a medium to large off white head. Great lacing retention. Aromas of centennial and citra, lots of pine, and juicy citrus. Taste is about the same with some honey, and wood tones mixed with a bitter finish. Somewhat grainy but not over the top. Too much carb in this one. Pretty solid offering as far as ipas go.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle. Golden with small head. Mild hoppiness. Weak, but pleasant enough. Might be more of a pale ale.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pretty solid IPA with a lot of hop spiciness and mouthfeel complexity. Had a dry finish. On draft in a pint glass.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly cloudy yet carbonated golden with a full and foamy white head. The aroma, while being pretty much what you come to expect from this style, is very good. Grapefruit, orange, pine, mango and lemon. The taste is big on pine that goes along with lots of melon and mango. There is some grapefruit as well. Surprisingly, this doesn’t come through as much until the end. An excellent hoppy bitterness here. Aftertaste is grapefruit and mango. Medium bodied, sticky in texture, with lots of lively carbonation. My first impression was that this was going to be pretty standard. However, with some different flavors in here that you usually don’t find dominant, I found this to be a bit of a different take for an IPA. Overall, I thought this one to be very solid.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Copper, clear, persistent white head. Aroma of honey-sweet malt with some toast, big hop aroma bright and lemony with sweet, fruity tangerine, a little spruce. Flavor is very similar with a little caramel sweetness and fruity, citrusy hops, a little lingering bitterness.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle - Pours clear amber with a big foamy white head. Nose is pretty dank and fruity hops, woody and sharp, Clean pale malt, and there are some of the berry notes from the description. Taste has the dry, pale malt base, along with a bit of doughiness. Fruity, dank hops up front, transitioning into a bitter, grassy, astringent finish. Thin and soft body, with a fluffy carbonation. Tasty stuff.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Aroma of weed, grass, and underripe citrus. Pours orange with a lasting medium head. Taste of grapefruit zest, stale pine needle, and dull malt. Pretty great IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Nice aroma and appearance for a budget IPA. Nice citrus, grapefruit aromas and flavor, but equally nice on the dry finish. Well balanced and an all-around great option for the price.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Coppery gold under a pithy off-white head which slowly settles into a thick layer while lace crawls up the sides of my glass. Lovely.
Grapefruit and key lime front and center followed by freshly grated spice in the middle while dew-dropped grass skirts the edges. Sticky hop resins in the back. Bright.
Not quite as intense but well balanced with clean brisk flavors that keep me smiling from first quaff to last. Medium weight. Lots of grapefruit and key lime rind and pith in the back of each swallow – parching and thirst inducing. Green grass. Juicy white grapefruit and lemon drops in the middle. Sticky along the edges and on my lips – hop resins.
Balanced, clean, refreshing, and sessionable tribute to the Saga hop variety from Summit Brewing out of Minnesota. I’d happily drink another.
