Draft at Beer Sellar, KY. Poured hazy orange with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate yeasty orange citrus aroma. Light to medium body with a light sticky texture. Medium citrus sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

Pours a cloudy pale yellow, with a tiny white head. Aroma of corriander and somthing nasty I can’t quite put my finger on. Flavor is mainly wheat with a bit of corriander spice. Palate is fizzy on the tongue and dry. Overall an odd beer, and a bit of a disappointment. Not terrible but not particularly good either.

Light amber appearance, somewhat hazy. The aroma is very herbal; it’s easy to tell that coriander was used in making this beer. The herbal aroma continues when tasting the beer; the wheat flavor is more subtle. The beer is moderately smooth. I like it quite a bit myself, and overall, I’d say it’s a very worthwhile beer to give a try, especially if you like beers that have more of an herbal tint to them.

White, fluffy head, slight darker in color that your standard Wit. Wheaty aroma, but with extra spice. Same goes for the flavor - think a pretty good Wit, with some pumpkin pie spice thrown in. Slightly bizarre, but refreshing, and pretty tasty.

I’m always down for a light Wit, especially from a brewery I’ve never head of before. I’m also interested to see what makes this a Scandinavian interpretation. The light and frothy bleached white head is an old friend from Wits past, but the body is a darker gold than usual, though typically hazy. The aroma is almost jolting in its uniqueness, with an extreme pepper component like Sichuan cuisine, a pinch of like lime and beneath it all the faint wails of wheat and butter. The taste is identical to the aroma with the added touches of black pepper and chilis. While there is little change or flux in this beer, it’s a real trip, especially if your keen on drinking the flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine. Why the Scandinavians are prone to add these flavors to their Wits is beyond me, but whether the beer is styled from the far North or takes more like the food in the Southern Hemisphere, this is excellent drinking.

From a bottle, this pours a cloudy orange-yellow. Fairly sizable white head that settles into a nice lacing throughout the glass-draining process. Aroma of orange peel & fizzy wheat. First taste is tart wheat, with a follow-up of orange peel, coriander and yes, cardamom. I didn’t think I’d much like the latter in beer but in this case, it’s just a hint of flavor--and it works very well. Slightly bitter, but clean finish. Smooth and moderately carbonated. Guess I’ve found a new favorite witbier.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy orange color with a big, lively white head full of tons of tiny bubbles. Great head retention. Aroma is of coriander and lemon zest, with a nice subtle floral note. Flavor is at a perfect level...it’s not too overpowering like sometimes happens in Belgian Wits. Nice citrus notes with a touch of the coriander and just a dash of spice. Very pleasant. Nice easy drinker, very nice in the hot weather.
