Can. Faint aroma of wheat. Flavor is light citrus, wheat with a creamy mouthfeel and a very light body.

12 oz single bottle into a pilsner glass, best by 10/19/15, purchased at Hy-Vee Wine & Spirits - Muscatine. Bright gold and clear in appearance with a fluffy, lingering, lacy white head and active carbonation. Aroma of toasted grain, light bread, mild citrus zest and light floral hops. Similar flavor, crisp, mild hop bitterness balanced by a light malt sweetness. Light to medium body with ample carbonation and a light husky grain finish. Not too bad considering its age.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body under a one finger fizzy white head with nice retention. The nose is light and delicate with just a bit of breadiness and some minimal floral hops. The flavor is rather light, but quite clean and delicate with just a gentle hoppiness on the finish. This is very easy drinking and enjoyable. Light bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a fairly short finish. Pretty good stuff, way exceeded expectations.

Smell is very floral. Color is Straw with a nice white head. Taste is lightly citrus with a very small bitter bite. Nice and relaxing.

Bottle. Pours blonde with white head, some lacing. Nose is fresh and floral, backed by signature summit malt bit and mildly doughy yeast. Flavor is mild grainy malt upfront with some mildly citrus hops in the middle and finish. Bitterness lingers in the finish - this reminds me of a fresh British bitter, which speaks volumes about it.

From a buck & 1/2 bottle, clean looking attractive beer. Pillowy head. Smells like reserved lager. Ooo, initial bud impact us more than expected for mannered golden or blondie. Good co2 however and my palate soon gets a little more used to this. Yes, becomes a little friendly towards the middle but some of those mild negative ale attributes remain. Let me knock them down like a whack a mole with a bigger swig, eh? Over all experience was pretty good for an ale, heheh.

Can, at Eaux Claires music festival. Likely this would have been better properly poured and evaluated, but just drinking out of a can, this smelled alright - fruity and floral, light but decent. The flavour though was too sweet, malty with very little bitterness.

Iíve been drinking Summit since Iíve been drinking beer and I always pick up the summer ale in season. First trip up north to Leech Lake so had to pick some up. Super clean and easy drinking. Get some lemon and citrus. Perfect daytime on the boat or on the beach session beer. Comes in cans too. For the style a great beer.

Tasted from bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with fluffy white head. Good lacing. Aroma is straw, bread and a little skunkiness. Taste is moderately sweet with minimal bitterness. Taste is straw, grass, medicinal, a slight biscuity flavor. Overall an average blonde. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
