Bottle from a liquor store in Hackensack, MN. Wonderfully fruity aroma with a hint of hops. Hazy gold with a thin white head and nice lace. Light in body but flavorful for a 4.9% brew. Good session quality. One of if not the best summer beers I’ve tried.

If you put the Summit pilsner head to head with this beer, I’m not sure I could tell the difference. This is a decent beer for the style. I’m sure there are some subtle differences, but to me it tastes more like a pilsner. Hop level is higher than many in this style.

Pours a clear lemon yellow with light frothy white head. Aroma is floral, bread, hay and almond. Flavor is bread, citrus. Body is light with a lot of carbonation.

A lightly hopped summer beer. Aroma has dry hops, and flavor is on the dry side also. It actually has more flavor than I expected, and the light palate makes it good for warm summer weather.

I was given a bottle of this at a church men’s group gathering--outside on a lovely June evening. It had a promising start, with a crisp aroma, lightly fruity. The flavor was drinkable and balanced--this isn’t as strongly hopped as I first guessed--but it sagged as it warmed, leaving it a bit murky and lacking distinguishable flavors. Reasonably easy drinking, however. Bottle.

Bottle. Pours a nice enough clear gold with a frothy white head. The nose is pretty benign, soft malt and sweetness. Faint grassy hops. On taste, clean and crisp but lacking depth. Low bitterness, grassy hops. Some clean notes and ok, just not really that great. Meh.

Bottle. Pours crystal clear with a white soapy head and faint bubbles. Aroma is lemongrass and grain/malt. Taste has some light spice hops and lemon with a bready malt finish. Palate is thin slick and finishes dry.

12oz bottle pours a clear golden/yellow with a large white head. Aroma of bready malts and grain with light grassy hops. Taste is a slightly bitter earthy bready malt with some slight toasted malt on the finish. Not much going on in the flavor but clean, crisp and drinkable. Nice for a warm evening.

Pours a clear yellow golden with a medium white head and some lacing. Aroma is bready with hints of grassy hops. Flavor is bread, malt, yeast, light hops and hints of grass and citrus. Light body with medium carbonation. It’s okay.

Pours a clear yellow with a thin white head on tap at the curragh in Skokie. Aroma is lemon, and flavor is odd. It’s mild, tiny bit of sour and a lit lemon finish. This ale is unique and very light.
