Real light yellow color. Crip, slightly fruity aroma. Taste: an initial brief burst of lemon zest, offset nicely by just the right amount of bitterness which lingers after the floral fruitiness departs. This is a home run of a summer seasonal outing. I can see several of these being consumed on the patio or at a lakeside bar.

Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, MN. Pours a clear golden pale colored brew with a decent sized off-white head that some some night retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light spicy and grassy hops, and a hint of pear. Taste is light to medium bodied, fruity golden grain malt with a short lived spicy hop flavor. Finish has a quick sharp bitterness, a hint of white pepper, then a toasted golden grain malt aftertaste that slowly disappears. Much better than your standard lawnmower beer. This summer ale has a nice flavor profile

Bottle from a liquor store in Hackensack, MN. Wonderfully fruity aroma with a hint of hops. Hazy gold with a thin white head and nice lace. Light in body but flavorful for a 4.9% brew. Good session quality. One of if not the best summer beers I’ve tried.

Another really nice seasonal from Summit here. Pours clear pale yellow/blonde with a large white head. The aroma has pale toasted malt, light sweetness, flower/floral aspects, spice hops and a bit of perfume. The body is light and crisp with mildly sharp carbonation. The flavor starts a bit drier than the aroma with dry malt, crackers, spice, grass, sulfur and herbs. The finish gets more peppery and has some minerals. Quite nice for a snappy summer ale.

Draft at paddy longs. Pours hazed golden yellow with white head. Aroma has a pleasant balance of grain and fruity yeast esters, banana, lemon, biscuit and pepper. Flavors are sweet honey grain with spicy and fruity esters, long lingering pepper that balances the initial sweetness making it crisp, refreshing, dry, and begging for another sip. Isn’t this a kolsh?

Bottled. Poured clear, brighter golden with a well-retained, sticky white head. The aroma picked up honey-kissed bread and lemony notes, with accents of grass and hay.. very fresh and well-balanced. The flavor found similar stuff.. mostly bready malts at the core, with lemon zest, grassy bitterness, and fairly salty character around.. salt, earth, and lemon zest on the crisp, refreshing finish.. tasty stuff. Lighter-bodied with moderate-plus carbonation.. clean, crisp, and refreshing.. excellent example of the style.

Clear light straw color pour with thin white head with a fair amount of lacing. Aroma is a nice balance of bready malt and grassy hops with some faint citrus notes. Flavor is nicely balanced as well, light maltiness without being "sweet" and some light grassy hop flavor without being "bitter". I’m not typically a fan of these lighter summer brews, but this one is pretty good. It’ll be no problem enjoying a couple of these after some yard work this summer.

Light and crisp with a dry, bitter, yeasty flavor. Hints of citrus zest, grape, and floral taste as well.
