4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Real light yellow color. Crip, slightly fruity aroma. Taste: an initial brief burst of lemon zest, offset nicely by just the right amount of bitterness which lingers after the floral fruitiness departs.
This is a home run of a summer seasonal outing. I can see several of these being consumed on the patio or at a lakeside bar.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Transfer from BA review from
Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – Pours a pale golden color with a big billowy white head. The head has a pretty decent retention lasting for a few minutes eventually fading to leave a moderate amount of lacing
Smell – The aroma is of a bready wheat malt and some lemon citrus and a light herbal aroma.
Taste – The taste begins crisp with a nice blend of wheat malt as well as some light citrus fruit notes. Some floral flavors come to the tongue, and with an increase in the lemon citrus, end up lightly bittering the taste. Toward the end a very light grassy flavor mixes with the others and leaves a clean taste on the tongue at the end.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is very light with a higher level of carbonation. A refreshing effervescent brew that is very easy to drink.
Overall – A good summer session beer. It is very easy to drink with its smooth body, light abv and more simple but flavorful crisp taste.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light color. Very crisp aroma. Subtle hop presence, consistent with the style. Refreshing, easy drinking. The 4.5% ABV and crisp, refreshing taste means you could pound back more than a few of these on a hot summer evening.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can. Clear golden pour. Minimal head and no lacing. IDK whats going on here. Completely forgettable beer. Grainy and a bit sweet, with very light citrus notes. I would never have beleived it was a Summit ale.

Tap in a pint glass at Maxwell’s. Light golden color and a little bit of head. Taste is the opposite of complex. Minor hop flavor but mostly a forgettable taste. I suppose it fits the summer easy to drink requirement but not a lot going on here. I think Summit achieved what they were striving for but they weren’t exactly reaching for the stars. Meh.
