3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale gold with a 2 finger, fluffy white head that has great retention and leaves pretty nice lacing. Aroma of toast, cereal, doughy yeast, and spicy, floral and light citrus hops. Flavor is bready, some tree fruit, citrus and planty hops, cereal. Light to medium body very creamy texture and, medium, blanketing and somewhat sharp carbonation. All around decent, nothing spectacular but flavorful enough and still decently refreshing, but the soft, creamy texture doesn’t really help that part. I like the mouthfeel, but it really doesn’t fit the other attributes of the beer all that well.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
I’ve been drinking Summit since I’ve been drinking beer and I always pick up the summer ale in season. First trip up north to Leech Lake so had to pick some up. Super clean and easy drinking. Get some lemon and citrus. Perfect daytime on the boat or on the beach session beer. Comes in cans too. For the style a great beer.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Practically no aroma. Flavor is a bit citrusy. Not overly bitter. Slightly cloudy. Leave a little pucker aftertaste. Not like the one I sampled in Doylestown, PA. I bought a case because I like the sample.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a light clear gold. Hints of lemon and honey on the nose. Very lite and crisp (almost too lite). Slightly sweet with hints of hoppy bitterness. A highly drinkable summer session. Nothing too special about it though.
