From bottle. Pours a dark brown hue with thin tan head and decent lacing. Aroma of bready yeast, toffee, caramel. Taste of malt, biscuit, toffee, caramel, dark fruits. Medium body with light carbonation. Pretty good for this style.

On tap. Served a dark brown color with a nice thick tan head and some lacing. Aroma of malt, primarily dark fruit and bit of spice. taste of thick malt, dark fruit with some toffee and just a bit of spice. Mild bitterness and a dry finish. A solid body, a bit crisp and very smooth. Nicely balanced. Enjoyable beer to relax with.

12 oz bottle. Brown in color with an average cream colored head. Aroma is of cola, roasted malts, prune, light chocolate, and grain. Taste is of roasted malts, raisin, grain, malt, toast, and light nutty notes.

Bottle. The look is darker than expected, very dark brown with reddish tinges, and a thinner off white head. The smell is fruits, malts, slight yeast, cherry, sweetness, pie, and ok. The taste is roasty, paper, fruits, malts, porterish, dry, and ok.

Poured from the tap. Very dark brown with beige head. Toasted malt with nutty aroma. Same flavour with a hit of sweet molasses. Medium body.

Aroma is sweet malt and dark fruits. Appears very dark brown, tan head, ample retention.taste is sweet and biscuity with a smooth finish on a medium bodied mouthfeel. Really pretty delicious...

Tap at Seventh Street Social. Red brown with a medium cream colored lacing. Cherry, fruity yeast, and bready malts. The beer is very sweet with a light syrupy feel.

Very complex with a clean finish. Caramel notes with a hint of smoke. Not as hop-heavy as many Summit beers - just right.

I get some nuts, roasty malt, and maybe some molasses. Tastes like a brown ale. I like brown ales.

Sorry of coffee brown with a light foam. Malty hop aroma. Taste is dark malt. A little caramel with a nice hop finish. Almost like a hopped brown ale but there is more sweetness. Very nice.

12 oz bottle. Poured a reddish-brown color with a thin cream top and minimal lacing. Taste of caramel malts, doughy yeast, and dark dried fruit. Medium carb, thin-medium body. Overall, I love the malty goodness in this brew.
