Poured from bottle, pours a clear copper brown with a thin white bubbly head, the aroma is very sweet with lots of malt and caramel, the flavor is much of the same, lots of caramel and malt with a slick finish, malty, it is what it is.

Bottle, pours a hazy orange-brown body with a thin white head. Aroma of bread, yeast, caramel, and citrus. Taste is similar. Dry on the palate; very drinkable.

MaltOne (254) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 28, 2014
Pours light amber, brief white head. Aroma yeast/bread with a bit of citrus. Taste follows the aroma with additional earthiness, like bier du garde, saison, or farmstead. Palate starts clear/cool then blooms with a flavor burst finish. Not a typical amber. Amp this up and it might be more noteable. Overall an interesting beer that’s a bit off type, but OK.

Ratman197 (10546) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - AUG 10, 2014
Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of caramel, graininess and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, light graininess and light earthiness with a crisp dry lingering caramel finish.

backdaft (252) - Menasha Red Light District, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 7, 2014
Bottle. Copper color with a thin white head and no lacing to speak of. Aroma is cereal grain and sweet malt. Taste is same with nutty, sweet caramel notes. Not what I was hoping for... and in all honesty, its another failure from Summit IMHO

GJF (1297) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - JUN 9, 2014
Generally good flavor. Nice maltiness, semi-sweet. It has a bit of fizziness and colaness to it that is not as pleasant though. Good effort, not great.

Johnsense (910) - - JUN 7, 2014
clear gold pour with a smaller head. Bready aroma, a bit of sweetness. Bready, hay, fairly crisp, very light honey. Hopping more prominent in aftertaste. A worthy Vienna and one I could drink a few bottles of to start a session. (is this where I ask them to bring back the brilliant Sovereign Gold?)

Pours an amber color with a small head and some lacing. Aroma of malt, dark fruit, bit of citrus and grain. Taste of malt sweetness, dark fruit with a bit of citrus. Mild bitterness and a clean finsh. Moderate body, crisp and clean. Enjoyable beer.
