MaltOne (215) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 28, 2014
Pours light amber, brief white head. Aroma yeast/bread with a bit of citrus. Taste follows the aroma with additional earthiness, like bier du garde, saison, or farmstead. Palate starts clear/cool then blooms with a flavor burst finish. Not a typical amber. Amp this up and it might be more noteable. Overall an interesting beer that’s a bit off type, but OK.

Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of caramel, graininess and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, light graininess and light earthiness with a crisp dry lingering caramel finish.

Bottle. Copper color with a thin white head and no lacing to speak of. Aroma is cereal grain and sweet malt. Taste is same with nutty, sweet caramel notes. Not what I was hoping for... and in all honesty, its another failure from Summit IMHO

Bottle. Poured a copper color with a smaller sized off white head. Some earth, caramel, and some nuttiness.

Generally good flavor. Nice maltiness, semi-sweet. It has a bit of fizziness and colaness to it that is not as pleasant though. Good effort, not great.

Johnsense (799) - - JUN 7, 2014
clear gold pour with a smaller head. Bready aroma, a bit of sweetness. Bready, hay, fairly crisp, very light honey. Hopping more prominent in aftertaste. A worthy Vienna and one I could drink a few bottles of to start a session. (is this where I ask them to bring back the brilliant Sovereign Gold?)

Pours an amber color with a small head and some lacing. Aroma of malt, dark fruit, bit of citrus and grain. Taste of malt sweetness, dark fruit with a bit of citrus. Mild bitterness and a clean finsh. Moderate body, crisp and clean. Enjoyable beer.

Pour is a clear amber with a large white head. Aroma is caramel malt with some toasted bread. Flavor is some toasted maltiness with a bit of cracker meal and a slight bitterness. A little wet paper bag at the end but it is minor. Probably true to the style but a style can go either way for me.

wlajwl (3872) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - MAY 31, 2014
Aroma is bread, malts, fruit and light citrus/tea. The flavor is mild/medium nutty malts, citrus/fruit, a hint of toffee and a smooth/slightly sweet finish.

commonmac (323) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 16, 2014
Pint glass tap pour at Muddy Waters. Golden color with little, unimpressive head. Lacing is mysteriously missing. This is eerily reminiscent of most common American lagers. No hint of the Summit hop charm we’ve come to love. Flavor is seriously MIA. A disappointment for sure. Probably Summit’s valley.
