Commercial Description:
This unique seasonal beer offers the warmth of an old English pub to help ward off the chill of a winter’s night. It has its origins in British neighborhood pubs where villagers would gather to shake off the damp cold of the bitter English winter. They’d share a pint or two of winter warmer ale by the fire, catch up on local gossip, and stay inside, where it was warm. We’ve brewed our version in the tradition of those winter ales, with a robust, full-bodied flavor and a tangy hint of spices.

Pretty deep brown colour. Nice warming ale with a pleasant spicy maltiness. Not extremely interesting, but definitely very nice on a cold winter's evening.

Clear dark reddish-amber color, has a nice thick off white head that leaves some lace in my glass. Nutty caramel aromas. Bready chocolate-caramel flavors, medium body with a smooth and creamy mouthfeel, a decent winter brew, but nothing to write home about.

On tap in the MSP airport. Tan head on a black beer. Vaguely roasted aroma followed by stark toasty flavors with a coffee-bittered finish. Smooth.

Dark tawny brown color with tan creamy head and nice lacing. Light pine and hop aroma, lightly earthy. Flavor is sweet and malty, rich and fruity. Finishes creamy and lightly zesty. A decent winter seasonal.

Deep mahogany pour with a creamy off white head and good lace. Earthy aroma of malt and hops. Some spice. A pretty good balance of malt and hops in the flavor. Woody and spicy as well. A bit nutty. Creamy palate and a malty finish.

Dark brown color. Taste contains a little wood and some spices. Transports you to a little cabin in the Northwoods by the fire. Very fine.

Dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma was incredibly light malt. Flavor was fantastic oak with nutmeg, nuts, and caramel malt. I find these beers facinating, where the aroma is very nondescript, yet the flavor is fantastic. It really takes you on a rollercoaster ride.

A small sized tan head that creamy and smooth with fine-medium sized bubbles that completely diminished. The body was carbonated with a mahogany hue. The nose malty with some caramel notes. The flavor was malty and caramel as well with a smooth mouthfeel and it was a medium bodied beer with fair lacing.
