COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unique seasonal beer offers the warmth of an old English pub to help ward off the chill of a winter’s night. It has its origins in British neighborhood pubs where villagers would gather to shake off the damp cold of the bitter English winter. They’d share a pint or two of winter warmer ale by the fire, catch up on local gossip, and stay inside, where it was warm. We’ve brewed our version in the tradition of those winter ales, with a robust, full-bodied flavor and a tangy hint of spices.

Pours a dark brown, with a deep reddish or rust colored tint to it, capped by an inch or so of creamy tan foam. A mild aroma of earthy spice and malt. Smooth malt flavor and a wave of spice great you with the first sip. And every sip thereafter. A touch of hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation, it goes down pretty easily. And so did the second pint…

Bottle. Deep brown with a medium head. Aroma is dark fruit, toasted bread and a slight hint of grassy hops. Taste of toffee, black cherries, brown sugar and dark fruits. Medium body. Slightly sticky texture. I like this a lot.

This deep dark savory winter treat comes from my home town. I really like this year’s vintage and look forward to enjoying the season with it. Great winter beer.

large foamy head with a very dark brown pour. mild rosted malt nose is no warning for what your about to taste. Sweet roasted malt flavor that lingers into a slight bitterness at the end. One of these before bed will help with those long winters naps. Very nice.

12oz. brown bottle served in a shaker pint glass. Poured a deep brown with less than a finger of white head. Deep malty aroma, molasses and caramelized sugar. Rich malty flavor and mouthfeel. Plenty of caramel malt. Not a lot of hop bitterness, but enough to balance out the malt sweetness. Very easy drinking, solid beer.

A very tasty seasonal ale from Summit. Pours medium brown with a nice creamy head. Good blend of caramel and sweeter malts balance out light toffee and chocolate.

12oz bottle from Pick’s poured into an English Pint. Pours black with a half finger of off-white head. Aroma of coffee, caramel and roasty malt. Taste is light bitter. Coffee and caramel. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a long coffee finish. Overall, I’m digging this beer. Great for tonight when it’s a solid 15 degrees outside.

Poured from bottle. Aroma of spice, hops and malt. Nice lookin dark mahogany with a bit of tan head. I taste a mix of roasted malt, banana, pepper, nutmeg, chive, lager hops and maybe some cocoa. Dry feel - just bit watery. A nice surprise.
