COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fistful of Hops is our quarterly series of four IPAs, each with the same malt base. We balance that base with a seasonal “fistful of hops” - each time a different combination. Fistful "Green" contains Warrior, Mandarina, and Galaxy hops, which provide the citrusy flavors of tangerine and grapefruit.

Pours amber with a thin white head. Malt, bread, pine, and citrus notes. Medium body and carbonation with a bitter resinous finish.

One of, if not the best, IPA I have ever had. Aroma is shockingly amazing. Close in taste to something like zombie dust yet less bitter. Floral hops presence very high, initial taste of citrus with a very crisp backbone of just the right amount of bitter and carbonation make this an outstanding beer.

Can. Amber body with a white, frothy head. Aroma of pine, raw, leafy hops, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A sweet tasting start gives way to raw hops, resin and pine with light citrus notes. Not a resin bomb, but fairly standard fair.

Can gifted by jrob21. Clear orange pour with nice white head. Bitter orange, grapefruit and some resin and decent malt backbone. Good not great.

16oz (green) can, from Big Red Liquors in Indianapolis. Clear orange amber color. Good finger of khaki head. Medium-plus body. Smooth lighter carbonation. Light creamy fullness to the texture. Lightly dry finish. Very easy to drink. Good tropical, orange fruity hop notes. Light caramel malt. Moderate bitter, light sweet. Great, well-balanced hoppy but not too bitter IPA. Satisfying clean bigger hop profile, but very easy to drink. Great IPA, very satisfying.

16 oz. can. Pours an orangish amber with a medium white head. Impressive lacing. Aroma of citrus, orange and grapefruit rind, some caramel malt. Flavor is slightly oxidized with lots of citrus notes. Tangerine, grapefruit, and orange peel. Spicy hop notes. Medium bodied with above average carbonation, finishes on a spicy hop note.

The picture here is off which had me confused but this is definitely the green. The warrior with the pine definitely dominates. Great looking red color with a big off white head. Light citrus aromas. Flavor is dominated by the pine and the finish is all resiny pine. Nice toffee and caramel mat body to round it out. Solid ipa.

Finestkind IPA Pours a clear amber-golden with a one-finger, foamy white head. Clean, pineapple and citrus nose. Texture is thinner than expected. The flavor performs like a session. Big disappointment given it’s impressive bouquet.

On draft at The Local in Westfield. Amber pour, eggshell head. Piney hop nose, not especially dynamic. Lightly sweet, pretty bitter. Medium body, oily, drying finish. Decent brew, definitely a scraper, and certainly balance isn’t the point here. Of course, drinking your IPAs out of a mason jar doesn’t really allow for proper appreciation. Regardless, good, not great.

I assume this is what I had - seriously, though, how does one tell? Hazy dull amber. The aroma doesn’t show much, but the palate has a lot of piney, slightly citrusy hop. Light caramel balance.

On tap at brewery as well as from a 4 pack bought at brewery a light golden with a thin white head. Aroma of pine trees resin & lemon. Flavor is very so slight sweet & the bite of pine bark. Smooth quite light. Feels nice to the palate. Not overdone. Subtle goodness here. Pleasantly surprised at this brew. Went to a free tasting expecting less than average & found this brew to be the exception.
