COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Grapefruit Jungle is a west coast-style I.P.A. Aptly named for the rich grapefruit characteristics of the three hops used to create it, Grapefruit Jungle is bursting with hop flavor and aroma. With the equivalent of one pound of hops in every keg, Grapefruit Jungle is a hop lover’s dream!

IBG Summer Fest. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Medium body with a slick texture with soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy sour citrus hop aroma. Moderate to heavy bittersweet flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Standout brew.

Can... Strong citrus aroma - grapefruit for sure, but that’s not all. Peels from a medley of citrus fruits. Medium-bodied with buoyant carbonation. The flavor tilts far into the bitter side of balance, but abundant medium-roast malts make their presence known. Bittersweet, rindy finish. Can shipped my way by StFun!

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2013 Draft. Sweet ruby red grapefruit malt and pine/grapfruit peel aroma. Amber with nice long lasting head. Sweet pineapple, grapefruit, malt, and moderately bitter pine and grapefruit peel flavor. Excellent blending. Very nice IPA.

Can thanks to Josh! Pours a near clear amber orange with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet citrus with some bitter grapefruit and a sweet grain backbone. Flavor has a nice start of citrus that grows into bitter grapefruit and has a sweet grain backbone.

16oz can, thanks to DanielCoor. Poured into my DFH IPA glass. Clear yellow orange color. Good thin off-white head, leaves good lace. Bigger body, even for 7.5%.. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Indeed, big grapefruit hop flavors. Some pine. Hop flavor dominates, malt profile is distant in the background, but a very light caramel malt back is there. Good big assertive bitter taste, minimal sweet. Light alcohol bite.. Tastes a little bigger than 7.5%. Very tasty, assertive IPA, though.

15th Annual Indiana Microbrewers Summer Fest 2010: Golden hue with a very nice head. The aroma has notes of mango, grapefruit, pineapple, biscuity malts and some peppery esters. The taste is fruity and spicy with a nice malty background, balanced and a tad earthy as well. The mouth feel is lively and refreshing, a bit metallic upon the finish. Outstanding hop blend leading towards a clean and crisp San Diego styled IPA. Mikey Likey

16 oz can shared by Kan. Thanks! Pours a glowing gorgeous orange pour, good fire, just a touch of haze, sunset with a small frothy whitish head that dies to a small film. Laces small. Aromas are juicy grapefruit, florals, and grass. Touches of crisp caramel and toast, pale malts, with a good floral and citrusy hop backing, medium bodied with a solid bitterness into the finish. Backend crisps up a bit, caramel and biscuits, toast moving into oranges and grapefruit, solid touches of resinous pine. Pretty nice hopping, floral and aromatic. Finish provides a healthy bitterness but still allows a decent malty kick to still shine through. Pretty nice, still fairly fresh and vibrant.

16 oz can to pint, released fresh from Sun King today. Looks good; a transparent orange with thin white head. Smells good; pleasantly hoppy with major notes of grapefruit. Tastes like it smells with a nice mouthfeel. A good IPA.

16 oz. can from jstax. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized yellowish beige head. The aroma and flavor have a big grapefruit citrus character, some tangerine, moderately sweet malts, caramel, lasting bitterness to the finish. Easy drinking west coast gem of an ipa. Another example of a beer I wish we could get locally.

Draught at Hops and Pie. Nice hoppy IPA. Total pine and grapefruit. Favorite Sun King to date.
