COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This particular replicale is designed to showcase yeast and the important roll it plays in a beer’s flavor. The base beer is an English Mild Ale, which is very session-able and simple style of beer. We chose to ferment with a French Farmhouse Ale yeast that imparts an earthy character and spicy notes with a bit of pepper on the finish.

Draft sample. Poured clear brown color with an average fizzy off-white head that was mostly lasting with excellent lacing. Moderate complex yeast and spice aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium spice sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.

I thought this beer was pretty light. A sweet aroma. Body is light. Limited white head. I admit that it is very session-able, but it’s one of those beers you could get tired of.

A decent mild, with some floral and malty notes. Not a whole lot to the flavor though (even for a mild)...it just needs something to make it more memorable.
