COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Obtuse Juice is the next generation of our much loved Angle Juice. It is an over the top IPA with a clean malt base and citrus punch of grapefruit and lemon from the abundant use of American hops.

Draft. Gold pour, small white head, little retention/lace. Aroma of tangerine/grapefruit/orange peel, caramel. Taste is cracker/biscuit, bitter tangerine/grapefruit hops. Palate is soft, slick, bitter finish. Good.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent orange with resinous off-white lacing. Smells and tastes good; citrus hops. Average on the palate (a little hot/boozy). Still, good beer.

Draft. Tangerine malt and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet tangerine malt up front with moderately bitter orange peel and spruce hops. Well blended - one I would definitely drink on a regular basis.

Tap at brewery. Orange, grapefruit, and floral hops aroma. Gold with a small white head, nice lacing. Spruce, citrus peel hops, biscuit/cracker malt flavor. Medium body and carbonation.

Tap at source: Pours honey-amber with a thick, off-white head. Scent is sweet citrus peel, pine. Taste is malty, hop bitter, grapefruit... Nicely balanced and smooth... Very good.

A decent DIPA. IT doesn’t hit eveything on all cylinders but it is a ncie clena and citrusy beer of a medium bitterness.
