Orange brown pour with white head. Sweetmalt on the nose. Taste is sweet malt and flowers. Nice but not great.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a uncarbonated transparent golden brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of Vienna malt and hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

Can. Bready, slightly sour caramel malt aroma. clear deep honey amber with a small off-white head. Flavor is same as the nose .. bready, slightly sour caramel malt flavor, with a very subtle herbal bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Something about the bread/hops combo wasn’t working for me.

Pours deep orange to amber. Head is moderate but fading. Aroma is bread, malts, toasted flavors, light caramels, and strangely enough some flowery or fruity hops but it could be esters I suppose. Flavor is rich burnt caramel and toasted breads and moderately sweet and finishes moderately dry to lightly sweet. I enjoyed this one even though its not my choice of lagers. Sun King needs to stick to lagers. Their best beers fit in that category.

This one was not very complex compared to other American oktoberfests out there. Aroma is very malty, fruity like a peach or apricot. Low level of hops nd mostly a malty beer, but very balanced. Not very complex or interesting though. Would have again. Sampled at homebrew club meeting..

I thought this was a fairly average oktoberfest beer. Caramel notes with a little more malt body. Toss in one or two spices. Not very flavorful. I was a little disappointed.

Pours a deep orange with a thin white head. Crystal clear with medium carbonation. Malty aroma with some earthy hop notes. Rich malty flavor with a touch a spiciness (almost like pumpkin pie spice). Sweet beginning with a semi-dry finish. Crisp clean mouthfeel with a medium body. Nice Oktoberfest with a spicy twist.

Sampled at CanFest 2011 in Reno. That is one hell of a can design. Pours a light clear orange. Solid and lasting toasty flavor that still stays more on the mild side.

16 oz can courtesy of shrubber85. Deep amber with soft off-white head. Caramel/munich malts, earthy hops, and a touch of plastic. Toasted/caramel malt sweetness and dried apricot followed by a nice even-keeled hop bitterness that slightly outlasts the malt sweetness. Mildly dry, refreshing finish. Maybe just a tad light on the palate, but makes it completely sessionable. I must say, I am quite impressed. Would love to try more by these guys.

Clear reddish-orange amber with a medium sized off white head that faded fairly quick. Sweet, malty slightly spicy aroma. Doughy, slightly sweet malt flavor with a slight herbal spiciness in the background. Medium bodied and slightly watery on the palate with a long malty finish. A pretty good Octoberfest.
