3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Copper/orange in color. Aroma is malty and bready. Flavor semi-sweet with caramel, bread, toffee malts...very light hops. Not a standout, but definitely would scratch that marzen itch well enough.

Missed the mark on many levels. Looks good though. Copper color, white head. Aroma lacks and smells like caramel malt and grain. Taste is slight carmalized plastic with a hint of sugar. Carbonation left the beer early leaving it lacking and has a very light body.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can bought as a gift from Elanas business trip to Indy. Decent dark looking amber color with a crisp malty backbone. Nothing special but that must just be because of the style

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
16 ounce can, 13259 is stamped on the bottom of the can. Not sure if that’s the best by or the canned on Julian Date (September 15, 2013). Served in a mug, the beer pours a clear amber color with about a half inch off-white head. Head retention is good, and there’s a decent amount of lacing. The brew smells like toasted and caramel malt, nuts, and some grassy hops. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there’s also the addition of some bready/grainy malt. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it’s a bit slick, smooth and easy to drink. I liked this brew, but at $13.49 a 4-pack, it’s better to buy a single of this brew if you want to try it.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
16 oz. can courtesy of queenholly. Clear amber in color with long lasting, bubbly head. Aromas of toasted bread, caramel malts and some herbal notes. The flavor is toasted caramel malt, lager yeast and a very light spice. Finish is lightly sweet with a thin body. The Oktoberfest style is normally a very simple style. This brew is right along the average in its class. Overall clean and simple.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft to taster. Looks decent; light for an Oktoberfest though. A completely transparent full gold with foamy off-white head. Smells of dough, lager yeast, and light malt. Tastes like it smells with a nice, smooth mouthfeel. An easy drinker, but otherwise forgettable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
16 oz can purchased at Keg Liquors in Clarksville, Indiana. The pour is a mostly clear golden copper with a three inch off white head. Nice lace left on the glass. The aroma is nutty caramel malt along with some grass. The taste is the nut malt, grass and some chemical sweetness in the back. The palate is medium bodied, pretty low carbonation level and a dry grass finish. Decent, easy drinking.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Love Sun King overall, but they are one inconsistent brewery. This is ok, but a pretty underwhelming offering(especially considering the price).

16 oz. can:
Clear, amber with a thick, off-white head.

Slightly tangy-sweet caramel flavor.
Bread and spice.
A little herbal hoppiness.
Very pleasant...low-key, but good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very drinkable Oktoberfest, if a bit thin in places. Pours a medium copper tinged brown with somewhat sizable light tan head. Nose is malty, but thin and lacking complexity. Flavors are better than the nose, with more caramel maltiness and a touch of hoppy dryness.
