Got this in a trade with my co-worker. Poured into a pint glass, nice deep orange amber color with a sticky white head. Aromatics of american hops and sweet malt with fruity undertones. The taste is hop forward and has a slight balance with a drier finish. Overall a really solid APA.

16oz can poured into a shaker. Pleasant notes of grapefruit, orange, and their respective peels, toasted bread, and some caramel hit the nose. It pours an oily, light copper / orange color topped with a puffy off-white head. Thereís a good amount of lace and the fluffy head recedes slowly, eventually reducing to a medium thick ring with a surface haze. The taste is a high/medium-high bitter with a medium sweet backbone. It has an oily texture with an average amount of somewhat soft, but fizzy head. The finish is grapefruit and caramel with a spice quality to it. The spice and grapefruit linger for a while with a citrus note appearing too.

Can pours clear slightly dark yellow with brief white head. Aroma pine and grass. Taste moderate malt backbone with pine, pepper, a little onion, grass. I didnít get much citrus. Finish mild hops. Light body with moderate carbonation. Decent. Improved as it warmed which kind of surprised me.

Can: clear gold with a quickly fizzling out white head. Nice grassy, peppery hops with flavors off tanginess. Not super hoppy. The finish has a weird zing to it, almost a little hairspray. Not bad but was expecting more.

16 oz. can. Pours and orangish amber with a medium white head, pretty good lacing. Aroma is citrus, herbal, pine, and touch of spruce notes. Some very apparent orange peel notes. Flavor is orange peel, mild pine. Medium bitterness with no real malt sweetness apparent. A touch of oxidation, but since Sun King doesnít date their cans I donít know how old this beer is. Finishes on a long citrus note.

16oz can into shaker - citrus out the wazoo. This is a citrus explosion almost like a lemon head but not quite. Balanced taste but clearly leaning on bitter with noticeable tartness. Light body.

16oz can from Big Red Liquors. Clear golden orange color. Thin off-head. Dots and ropes of lace. Medium body. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Great west coast hop - citrus, pine. Good bready malt, light bit of caramel. Kind of biscuity. Awesome aroma. Satisfying moderate bitter taste, light sweet. Very tasty, easy drinking satisfyingly hoppy IPA. Shared with caterwaul, but I drank most of it. Would have made the whole can disappear in minutes had I had the chance.
