Can, thanks to ridglens, 01/14/2014. Pours golden amber, clear, with frothy white head which fades to the surface, leaving sticky lacing around the glass. Aroma is hoppy, tropical fruit with grassy middle, touch of pine in the end, toasted cereal malts. Aroma is grapefruit hoppiness with big pine kick and herbal bitterness, some caramel, toasted malts in the finish. Medium light body. Decent.

UPDATED: APR 19, 2014 Indy’s trendiest and most popular brewery’s flagship beer is a great Pale Ale for hot/summer days. There is a nice amount of bitterness and citrus hop flavor to be found and the mouthfeel is incredibly crisp, but occasionally I seem to get a "skunky" can for some reason. The beer looks great in the glass, but I’ve never got a lot of punch from the aroma. Better on draft IMO, as the hop profile always seems more bright. I’ve had a ton of Osiris, and would/will recommend it often, but it is a bit pricey for what it brings; when price, availability, and flavor come in that order, I’m going with Sierra Nevada PA. Reverse those criteria, and I’d likely go Osiris. Still, it has many fans and a great rep in the Indy area as the best session brew in town. so worth having for sure if your in the area; especially if you find it on tap.

16oz can from Crown Liquors in downtown Indy. Golden color, aroma is lost on me thanks to my sinuses. Taste is of citrus hops with a nice malt background. This is a very well balanced beer and I wish I had more than I brought home with me. If you’re a fan of citrus-hops pale ales, you’ll enjoy this one quite a bit.

Pounder? I barely know her! Can. Pours clear amber with a medium sized white head and decent retention. The aroma is a bit muted but has plenty of floral notes. The taste has a nice hop punch, a nice grpefruit citrus backbone.. and some sweet caramel maltiness on the finish. Very well balanced and solid offering.

16 oz can. Pours clear golden orange with a creamy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is sweet biscuity malts with some earthy, fruity hops.
The flavor is biscuity malts with some spicy grassy hops and a little fruit. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, OK biscuity pale ale with decent hops.

Amber in color with a lovely head, Osiris Pale Ale exhibits an aroma of fruits and spices that could have come from a Middle Kingdom marketplace, minus the flies and camel dung. Bitter and hoppy with a dry finish, it is a solid pale ale.
---Cheers until next time!
