Very nice malt aroma. Pours with a good bubbly head and a cloudy darker golden body. Palate is clean, bubbly and slightly sticky. Taste is a pleasing higher-than-usual hop load for a pale ale. Slightly bitter finish.

2015 BJCP Category: 18B American Pale Ale

AROMA: Light piney hops; some amber malt notes but no specific character. 7/12

APPEARANCE: Dark amber/orange proper. Fairlt hazy but plenty of CO2 visible. Moderate white foam mostly dissipates. 2/3

FLAVOR: Piney hops throughout, but low on the bitterness. Low to moderate clean grainy-malt character provides balance but is not especially sweet. No off flavors, but palette is a little boring as it’s rather mild. 12/20

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation. Crisp, but not refreshing per se. Slightly dry aftertaste. 4/5

OVERALL IMPRESSION: Nothing wrong with this beer other than being mild and kind of boring. Drinkability is nice at least. 6/10

TOTAL SCORE: 31/50

Golden in color with a sticky foam. I’m mixed about the aroma. Some bread maybe, citrus, not really sure. Not bad just nothing outstanding. Body was under carbonated. Nothing terrific.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2016 Pint can from Keg Liquors; dated 5/12/16 (Packaged-on date) Aroma: Moderate citrusy/lightly floral Cascade-like hops and lighter caramel biscuit at about a 60/40 balance. Very SNPA inspired. Appearance: Caramel gold with soft carbonation holding up a foamy white cap that settles into a patchy skin. Flavor: Starts out more malty and gradually builds up momentum hop-wise; the finish is at once semi dry but citrusy and lightly bitter. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Good SNPA clone that is solid all around, but is nothing to seek out as an exemplar in the style.

Bright hop nose, shimmering pale gold, low tight head. Crisp body with a light malt taste that dissolves quickly into a tight hop bitterness. Thin, and very happy for a PA, it’s more like an IPA.

Light Amber colored with a medium fizzy head. Light malt and hop nose. Malt, long lasting medium bodied.

Can shared by Miles. Osiris is a clear brassy gold with a caramel fruity aroma. Kind of middle of the road, it has a med-full body with a fruity sweet flavor and a juicy hop character but doesn’t leave such a strong impression.

16 ounce can from Delocks. Pours a golden orange copper with little head and a lot of carbonation. Aroma has citrus and sweet fruits and sweet malts with some apple. Taste is of sweet malts, citrus, sweet fruits. Biscuity malts. Light and sweet. The carbonation is constant, the alcohol present is very light. Light to medium bodied, and the blend is solid. Finishes more sweet than bitter and fairly short. This is a decent pale, to the light side, without a lot to distinguish it from the pack. 13.8

Pretty like able beer. It definitely tows the line between a true apa and classic pale. Aroma could offer more. Some hop taste but not super clear or true. Just a little bitterness which is a ok. I think if they increase the nose on this that would carry through the other aspects of this beer and make it a better experience. As it was I'll have another and try their spring IPA. My mother in law picked these up for me. What a great mother in law. She had glowing things to say about the staff at sun king. So thank you for taking care of mom in law sun king. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
