Can from Liz. Pours light amber with a 3 finger creamy white head. Aroma: cat pee is next to godliness. It’s not all that simple, but it’s a very citrus aroma. Near med body. Flavor is a lot of citrus hop over a barely noticeable malt backbone. Finishes spicy/hoppy. Just excellent.

A: The pour is a standard amber-ish color with a big white head on it. S: This beer smells almost like hot garbage. Not much in the way of hops, somewhat of a malty aroma. T: The flavor offers up some good bitterness, but that’s about it. A bit of malt flavor but not really any citrus or anything like that. M: The mouthfeel is typical for a pale ale. Medium in body with a lively carbonation. D: The flavor was alright, but not really anything special. Unfortunately, the aroma is just flat off-putting.

Draft at MacNiven’s. Poured a hazy copper color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hops aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Can @ home, picked up at Highland Wine. Pours a fairly clear, dark orange appearance with a nice off white, creamy head. Moderately potent spicy, piney, orange citrusy aroma with a bit of a floral note going on. Starts out a bit sweet with some cracker and finishes a little more dry and hoppy. Some grapefruit notes. Aroma was nice but the flavor ended a little blandly. Ok.

Amber pour, off white head. Nice pale! Good citrus hops up front, some toffee notes, yeast, lemon zest. Flavor has a great kick of hops balanced perfectly by some caramel malt notes. I enjoyed this one.

Can… Clear golden ale with a mid-sized, frothy, off-white head. Lengthy retention. The nose is of biscuit and moderately toasted grains flanked by musky and citrusy hops – lemon peel stands out. Medium to full-bodied with dancing carbonation. The flavor is of medium bitter, spicy, peppery hops. Lengthy, moderately bitter, dry finish. Thanks to MI2CA for providing this brew!

UPDATED: OCT 20, 2012 Can thanks to LtDan. Pours with a clear golden body and a large, off-white head. Aroma of grass, earth, pine and caramel. Light citrus and some tea. Flavors of pine, earth, gelatin, dust, bitter, soil. A bit metallic. Very light sweetness in the finish of the second sip. Medium bubbles, decently dry and lastingly bitter finish. (3.1)
