Has some decent pine and citrus scents. Taste is more resin and has a lingering bitter, wish there was more.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can thanks to StFun! Light orange pour, good quarter inch head and sweet creamy oranges a very light hops. Flavor has a light hop profile, a little woody malt and a slightly creamy citrus aftertaste. Very good, could see drinking this around a fall campfire all night long.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JUL 12, 2016 Pint can from Keg Liquors; dated 5/12/16 (Packaged-on date) Aroma: Moderate citrusy/lightly floral Cascade-like hops and lighter caramel biscuit at about a 60/40 balance. Very SNPA inspired. Appearance: Caramel gold with soft carbonation holding up a foamy white cap that settles into a patchy skin. Flavor: Starts out more malty and gradually builds up momentum hop-wise; the finish is at once semi dry but citrusy and lightly bitter. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Good SNPA clone that is solid all around, but is nothing to seek out as an exemplar in the style.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tallboy from StFun poured into a tulip.
Pours a light, crystal-clear amber with a small, short-lived beige head that recedes to a soapy swirl and leaves spots of lacing.
The aroma is mainly lightly toasted pale malts and some grassy hops with some herbal hints as well. Even some light citrus in the nose. Really solid aroma.
Fairly bitter taste with a metallic character that lingers in the finish and through the aftertaste. There is a light bready malt sweetness in the background. The enticing hop aromas just donít deliver as well in the taste.
The mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.
This is not an overly impressive pale as the taste doesnít deliver the complexity and hop profile that the aroma suggests. Too much metallic bitterness with too little flavor.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured into a pint glass.
4.0 A: Clear yellow light orange color. Two and a half fingers of frothy, but somewhat dense white head. Good retention and tons of lacing.
3.5 S: Overall pretty clean with neutral malt aroma. Hops are mainly floral in nature with some herbalness in the background. They arenít that strong, but very nice smelling.
4.0 T: Soft bitterness. Again, really clean with neutral malt. Slightly piney and grapefruit hops.
4.0 M: Heavier light to lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Very smooth and slight creaminess.
3.5 D: Not a bad brew and no problems. However, itís a bit too straightforward and perhaps a touch boring. Donít get me wrong, I really appreciate the craftsmanship here, but it just isnít that exciting.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: AUG 20, 2009 Draft at Spencerís Stadium Tavern. Pours golden with white head. This beer is a complete exercise of balance. You get a fruity hop nose with plenty of toasted malt. You get toasted malt flavor with some oraneg-ish flavored hops and a mild bitter finish. Light to medium body with a dry short lived finish. Flawless.

Pour is clear darker amber with a tight light tan head. Nose has a bit of stale grain, toasted malt, dry caramel, and some herbal hops. Taste is strong caramel and some stale grain. Grassy hops, herbal tea like, a touch of metallic twang with assertive carbonation and a medium body.
