Got this can and southern star at Village bottle shop. This beer was thin, not much hops , not much head no lacing, and almost like an american lager. Nothing funky so I don’t think it was infected, just weak.

Indy Brewers Fest 2009 - A well crafted brew to be sure. The hops and malt play off each other in both the aroma and flavor. Not bad considering some of the pale ales I’ve had lately.

Can from StFun! Pours gold with aslight but persistent white head that leaves very thick lacing. Aroma is lightly citrus with a bit of cereal. Taste is very bitter hop forward, very pleasantly so. Lightly citrusy and very crispy on the finish. Very nice.

16 oz can. Pours clear golden orange with a creamy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet biscuity malts with some earthy, fruity hops.

The flavor is biscuity malts with some spicy grassy hops and a little fruit. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, OK biscuity pale ale with decent hops.

Pours a clear amber with a white head that turns into a lasting ring that does leave some lacing. Pretty pine forward in the nose. Taste is bittersweet - sweetly malty with a nice hop bite. Excellent beer.

From the can. Clear amber with a light, wispy, white head. No lace. Nose is very lithgt citrusy hops, grapefruit, light lemons and very faint caramel malts. Nose seems completely clean and absent of esters and complexity. Flavor is dry and again medium light hop character and little to no malt character. Bitter crisp finish. Seems true to style.

A clear, golden body with a rocky, white head. The aroma is fruity with notes of tangerine and mild apricot. It has a light, somewhat thin body with lively carbonation. The taste is mildly bitter with a more neutral finish.

Tallboy can purchased at the brewery. Pours a light amber color with a white head. Aroma is mildly hoppy, grassy, citrus. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is hop bitterness with a touch of sweetness and a clean bitter finish. A nice APA.
