Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (grapefruit), with a light note of diacetyl. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Very little aroma, which includes some butter. Pretty thin, watery, and stark in the mouth...almost seems diluted. I wouldn’t go as far as to call it flavorless, as there is ample bitterness, but yeah...it’s surprisingly weak.

Can thanks to Sixthglass. Pours a cloudy orange color with a thick white head. A sweet biscuit nose with abundant pine and citrus hops. The flavor is a super smooth Pale with lemon zest, oranges, light bitterness, smooth biscuit balances it out. Some lingering bitterness. Nice. Akin to Daisy Cutter. I expect some high ratings of this brew.

Can:   Vibrant orange, large fluffy white head, nice lacing, light carbonaiton.   Nose of semi-sweet pithiness.   Very much a citrus oriented Pale Ale.   Bright bitterness up front, not caustic, very smooth with a pithy background.   Decent malt base.   Seems very fresh.   Bitter but not overbearing.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes clean, and what Pale Ales should be, hoppy but not out of balance with the malts. &nbps Straight forward and solid for a Pale Ale.   Certainly matches up with PNW examples.   Thanks to Brigadier for the cans!

10/24/10. 16oz can. Clear golden color that hints at orange - pretty light - with a small fluffy off-white head that lasts and laces a bit. Really nice fresh hoppy aroma with lots of citrus and definitely pine - quite nice. Smooth but light flavor that is a little thin but does pack a bitter punch and some nice hop character as well.

"91st percentile on RB...gotta admit, I’m not feeling that. This was an average pale at best. Did absolutely nothing to stand out and even seemed like it was dirty malty enough to not be suoer fresh. Decent bittering and floral hops, but no follow through."

Sampled on tap at the brewery (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a nice darker muted golden hue, small whitish head that dies to a film that clings to the edges. A faint haze. Aromas are freshcut grass and floral hops, a touch stinky, almost dank, with crisp pale malts providing a light malty sweetness. Initial is heavier side of light bodied, clean with some decent floral and soapy hop character. Fresh cut grass mingling with bready pale malts, finish leaves a lingering floral and soapy bitterness on the palate. A very drinkable pale ale that is fairly clean, does the job. However, it does lack the flourish that many American brewers are putting on their APAs nowadays to distinguish them.

Can shared by shigadeyo. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head that becomes a thin ring. The aroma is crisp citrus, floral, pale malt, and grass. The flavor has some citrus notes mingling with dry, grassy and floral hops and bready pale malt. There is a mild to moderate level of bitterness. Light to medium bodied drinkable APA.

Can to pint. Looks decent; a translucent orange with sticky head. Smells good; mildly hoppy. Tastes solid; much like it smells. Mouthfeel is good. Solid.

Nose of pale malt and C hops. Not all that original and interesting, but it smells nice and pleasant. Pours off golden, not much in the way of head or lace. Flavors of pale malts, a touch of grain and bread, and floral, citrus and earthy hops with a slight spiciness in the finish. Easy enough to drink, well done. Its and APA.
