tap at the brewery - Pours hazy copper with an off-white, lacing head. The aroma has some citrus hops. The flavor has good hops intensity with slight citrus undertones. I’m looking for a bit more malt profile to complement it though.

16 oz. can. Pours and orangish amber with a medium white head, pretty good lacing. Aroma is citrus, herbal, pine, and touch of spruce notes. Some very apparent orange peel notes. Flavor is orange peel, mild pine. Medium bitterness with no real malt sweetness apparent. A touch of oxidation, but since Sun King doesn’t date their cans I don’t know how old this beer is. Finishes on a long citrus note.

Can. Floral grapefruit and piney hops aroma. Hazy honey gold with a moderate thick white head. Floral citrus peel hops and caramel malt flavor, with a long, lingering spicy bitter finish. Light to medium body, lively carbonation, and a slightly dry finish.

A pint in a can provided by Sean, drank from a perfect pint glass... The beer pours a light watery copper with orange notes, looks ok but light. The head is off white watery, but good retention and lacing... The aroma is really nice, great fresh citrus notes, a hint of caramel then a perfect amount of hops. Just great... The taste is equally as nice, an easy to drink flavorful pale ale. Would love to get this and crush it 4 can packs of daisy cutter.

Solid pale ale. Hoppy, yet not excessively bitter. Very balanced, actually. Malt side has elements of bread, caramel and biscuits -- without being overly sweet. Hops are citrusy and slightly grassy with a fitting bite of bitterness. Great session beer.
