Solid pale ale. Hoppy, yet not excessively bitter. Very balanced, actually. Malt side has elements of bread, caramel and biscuits -- without being overly sweet. Hops are citrusy and slightly grassy with a fitting bite of bitterness. Great session beer.

Osiris. 16oz can purchased from sun king... Pours a mostly
transparentorange hue and topped with a frothy thin milky white
head... Straighforward citrusy hop base some bready malt presents
itself as a backbone. Standard but decent... Flavors follow suit with
an assertive citrus hop focus, earthy bitterness surfaces late. Lively
carbonation with a lighter side if medium body. Drinks pretty good but
nothing all that unique but sometimes that is all you need

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
16 oz. can. Pours and orangish amber with a medium white head, pretty good lacing. Aroma is citrus, herbal, pine, and touch of spruce notes. Some very apparent orange peel notes. Flavor is orange peel, mild pine. Medium bitterness with no real malt sweetness apparent. A touch of oxidation, but since Sun King doesn’t date their cans I don’t know how old this beer is. Finishes on a long citrus note.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
16oz can from Keg Liquors in New Albany, IN. Pours a crystal clear, deeper gold colored body with an inch thick, dense and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves lots of soapy lacing. Aroma is grass and citruses with a grainy pale malt backing. Some soft florals, a bit of an earthy resin, and grapefruit. Flavor is similar. Slightly bready pale malts with a nice grapefruit and grassy citrus. More soft florals, a bit of a resiny pine, and a light earthiness before this finishes dry and slightly resiny with a light-medium, grassy, somewhat citrusy bitterness balanced well with a lightly sweetened bready pale malt. Lengthy aftertaste following a light, but a very smooth body with a soft, medium-light carbonation. Overall, a well done pale ale. Nice pale malt backing with some breadiness and a solid, grassy, citrusy hop backing. Very easy drinking and enjoyable.

Surprised by the so so reviews. Thought this was awesome. Super clean happy dry apa. Reminded me of daisy cutter. Refreshing. Sessionable. Great juicy citrus and floral hop character with a pleasant touch of sweet toasted caramel malt backing. Great.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
16 oz can purchased at Keg Liquors in New Albany, Indiana. The pour is orange copper, lightly hazed, with a somewhat off white head. The aroma is lemon bitter hops, a bit grassy, along with a toasted bread maltiness. The taste has a nice balance between the resin orange citrus hops and the bready malt. The palate is medium bodied, soft natural carbonation, and a dry bitter mineral finish. Solid Pale Ale.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
16 oz. can from a trade. Lager glass shows me a clear gold colored body with a thick, dense and off-white head which laced until the last drop. The aroma is full of citrus hops, notes of grass and toasted bread malt. Taste is dominated by the hops but has a solid backbone of bread malt. This could be on the borderline of an IPA. The carbonation was perfect giving a light zing on the tongue. Finish is real clean. Super easy to drink and well crafted.

5/06/2010: Sun King Osiris Pale Ale... Aroma: Vibrant citrus and faint pine hops. Appearance: Transparent yellow color; stagnant, small, off-white head; fast carbonation bubbles. Flavor: Fruity hops (resin, weak tangerine, grapefruit, floral); great level of hoppiness and bitterness (moderate that stick in the throat). Palate: Medium-light, a touch thin. Overall: This is a nice, sessionable Pale Ale.

Draft. Pours a translucent copper with a white head of foam. Pine, and bitter grapefruit peel come through in the aroma. Mildly bitter. Finishes sweeter. Dry as well.
