Can at What the Funk. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cherry skin, vanilla, brett, oak. Thin mouth, light tart cherry, oak, brett, some vinegar, very good.

Can... Pours lightly hazy and burnt orange with no head. The bouquet furnishes funky cheese, sweaty socks and sour cherries with a light note of caramel. Full-bodied with dancing carbonation. The flavor is deeply tart and moderately acetic, flanked by a nice element of toasted oak. Well-balanced overall. No detectible bitterness. The mildly sweet, fairly tart finish leaves an aftertaste of buttery diacetyl that doesn’t really hurt my feelings all that much. Can courtesy of StFun!

tap @ fobab. peculiar earthy strawberry fruit. lot of balsamic dressing offered. wet veggie. apple cider vinegar offered as well. too much vinegar for my liking.

Sample at GABF - This badboy was sour as hell. Big tart berries, touch vinegar. The finish is what put me off. Just a bit harsh and muddled. Noticed someone else thought is was off as well. Not bad, just not really my thing I guess.

On tap @ GABF. Amber pour with an off-white head. Light acetic tartness along with some lemon, cherry, and red grapes. Nice fruit, some grass, apple, and a touch of caramel. Good cherry flavor, some tart vinegar, lemon, and grape. A mild grass note and caramel sweetness.

GABF 2013. Pours a dark orange appearance with a light tan head. Aroma seemed fine with some light vinegar, dark fruits, and black cherries. Unfortunately, I got a bunch of butter in the flavor with just ruined the flavor for me. Strangely enough, none of the other ratings from GABF noted this, which makes me wonder if my pour was from a separate keg or my senses were just off.

Sampled at GABF 2013. A nice tart and fruity flanders sour with wild yeast and lots of cherries. A little sweet, but quite tasty.

16oz screw top can, thanks to DanielCoor. Shared with caterwaul. Really awesome big rich cherry pie and creme in the nose. Mmm... Tastes very much like it smells. Delicious. Cheesecake, and cherry. Much more crisp, smooth, and easy drinking than the flemish we just sampled prior to this (Cuvee Freddy). Medium body, with a crisp lighter carbonation. Finish is only slightly sticky. Moderate sweet taste, good moderate tart sourness, light spiciness. Mostly clear amber / red orange color. Last pour is hazy. Minimal greyish head. Really tasty flanders. Surprisingly easy drinking. Sometimes diving into a flanders on my own makes me a little nervous, but I could have easily chiefed this one on my own.

16 oz can shared by DanielCoor. Pours a clear golden brown color with a thin white film. The aroma is tart cherry, vinegar, sweet malts, vanilla, lactic with some oak character. The flavor is much of the same; tart cherry, caramel, vinegar, acidic, lactic with some oak.
