Our traditional Belgian-Style Flanders Oud Bruin is fermented with Lactobacillus and Brettanomyces wild yeast strains, which provide tart cherry flavors to balance malt sweetness

Aluminum bottle (filled to the brim). Mixture of lactic acid, apple cider vinegar, and cherry aroma. Ruby amber with minimal head. Sweet-tart cherry malt and light sour milk and horseblanket flavor. Nice body. Very pleasant - "Its like Iím wearing nothing at all!"

Pint can from brewery. Pours a rich orange with off white head with no lacing as it dissipates. Smells of creamy cherry. The flavor is great with warm vanilla and cherry with a sour funky finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks, Josh! Fuckiní righteous can, and a wicked cool beer. Translucent copper brown, minimal carbonation. Nice nose of wet oak, vanilla, cherry, and lacto. Mouthfeel is nicely full, a bit smooth in places, mildly acetic, but the carbonation has a cola-like feel as well. Flavors are full, quite brightly yeasty in places and pleasantly acetic. A young oud bruin, and an enjoyable one for sure.

16 oz can from the brewery (Indianapolis, IN). Exciting find, good enough consolation for being one day too early for Grapefruit Jungle cans. Pours a richer brownish balsamic pour, glowing orange and copper edges lace ok. A frothy tannish head atop dies to a loose ring, laces small and rings small. Aromas show a decent lactic twang, wet oak and melloe red wine elements. A touch tannic, faint spirit. A bit of biscuit, red cherries, and a gentle vinegar touch. Some lactic twang, cherries, and red wine. A bit more mellow, well integrated. Nice. Initial is a bit sharp up front, lactic and cherry. A touch sweet and tart, some more lactic presence as it starts to roll on. Decent oak presence, a bit tannic with gentle balsamic, more cherryskin, a bit of biscuit and bready malt. Sour cherry, lactic twang, some red wine, oak, gentle carbonation is bubbly as we round the corner. Gentle vinegar touch, a bit of gentle malt sweetness, red wine is gentle tannic and wine element. Sourness hits a peak on the palate as it rounds into the backend, tannic and cherryskin, gentle malt presence definitely sticks around and provides some balance, but sour lactic kick, gentle funky brett, oak presence really does do some work here. Gentle biscuit, wheat bread, a bit earthy. Really nicely put together here. Really nice.
