COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sunlight Cream Ale is our most approachable beer and is a great introduction to the world of Craft Beer. Cream ale is one of the earliest styles of American beer, but was virtually wiped out by American lager brewers. Our Cream Ale is an all malt beer. Only the finest quality barley, wheat and oats are used to give this beer it’s smooth malt profile which is delicately balanced with American hops and a cool fermentation to give this beer a crisp, clean finish.

UPDATED: NOV 5, 2014 On tap at Gen Con beer garden. Pours a clear yellow with a thin head that laces. Aroma is smooth. Grain, and traditional hops. Taste is balanced. Slightly creamy with grain, a touch of caramel. Medium body and carbonation. Creamy mouth feel. Easy drinking. Overall an easy drinking cream ale.

Not much on the nose maybe some bread or light grains. Tastes nearly the same with some more grainy flavors. Maybe a tad of vanilla? Either way nothing special here.

16oz can courtesy of Trent! It pours a straw yellow with a 2 finger head of foam. I get floral hops and some caramel malt in the smell. The malt in the taste is more of a grainy variety with the hops giving me a lemony kind of bitterness, not tartness, mind you. A bit of corn is noticeable but not a huge detraction. Fairly light bodied, it does have a weak kind of watery finish. Cream Ales are not a style that will turn heads but...this is a very good example of the style and it is certainly an easy drinking brew. I like.

Poured out of a 16oz can. This ale has very clear crisp golden color basically like a cider. The white head quickly dissipates, and the aroma is pretty faint with malty creaminess coming through. The taste is very refreshing, creamy and malty with a hint of hops at the end. This is a pretty refreshing brew that seems just a little light in my opinion. Overall not bad though. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16 oz. can. Pours a straw yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma is slightly sweet with some golden malt and and gentle straw notes. Flavor is mildly sweet with cream, bread, and grain notes. Slightly lower carbonation than I was expecting. Medium bodied. Crisp, clean finish. This is a pretty good summer beer.

Golden colour, grainy aroma with lots of alcohol harshness. Similar palate, tastes industrial, bland, touch of pale malt but touch of acidity as well.

16oz can, from the beer store formerly known as Khan’s. Bottom of the can appears to read "BACONWRAPPEDONIONRINGS14127". Clear golden color. Minimal off-white head. Couple bits of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lightly soft, lighter carbonation. Kind of white bread, lightly corn like, light citrus aroma. Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter taste. Ok kind of simple sort of macro-like lager. Reasonably smooth and easy-drinking... But I was expecting something more to this. Not much to it at all.

On draft at the Front Page sports bar, Indianapolis. Body is a yellow/golden with minimal head. Watery lacing. The aroma is very subtle; picking up slight grains. The flavor is just as bland. More grains, subtle lemon. Medium carbonation and light/medium body. Very drinkable, but no other enticing qualities to this brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pours yellow with white head. Aroma is a bit tart, earthy, citrus, doughy. Very carbonated, light, a very interesting beer... not undrinkable....but not that great.
