COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sunlight Cream Ale is our most approachable beer and is a great introduction to the world of Craft Beer. Cream ale is one of the earliest styles of American beer, but was virtually wiped out by American lager brewers. Our Cream Ale is an all malt beer. Only the finest quality barley, wheat and oats are used to give this beer it’s smooth malt profile which is delicately balanced with American hops and a cool fermentation to give this beer a crisp, clean finish.

Pours pale yellow with a tiny amount of white head. Aroma is barn, crackers, wheat, and a small trace of alcohol. Flavor is doughy, bread, slight malt, and faint bitterness. Can’t say I have ever had a true cream ale, so can’t really compare if it is right for the style. Seemed like more of a helles or pilsner. It was okay.

Golden with fairly long head retention, this cream ale has a fresh clean aroma with no skunkiness or hints of anything notable. It is foamy on the tongue and dry, with a hint of cereal in the taste and a smooth finish: a refreshing summer beer. ---Cheers until next time! DMSR

Can @ home picked up at Highlands Liquor. Pours a fairly clear golden yellow appearance with an off white head. Corn, candy, vanilla, sweet malty aroma that’s almost like a malt liquor. Fairly clean, Budweiser-esque flavor with some rice/corny/sweet notes. Nothing particularly off but really reminiscent of a macro lager.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2013 Can. Clear gold with a short white head. Starchy malt liquor / apple aroma, there’s a lot of cracker and cookie malt, there’s some fermentation artifacts but they’re not overpowering, it’s not boozy, it’s not full of off notes, but they are there. Kind of endearing like malt liquor. Corn kernels and malt hop or maybe hop malt.

Draft. From notes. Corn and citrus. Very drinkable but not very special. Nothing I would seek out again.

A- Golden straw color. White head with good retention S- Not a whole lot going on here. Very mild. T - Very crisp and clean. Slightly sweet. M - Highly carbonated leaves a dry finish, but has a little body to it. D - This is probably my favorite lawnmower beer. Very light and crisp, but still actually contains flavor.

On tap at Detour in Carmel. Pours a clear yellow-gold with a small white head. Nice aroma of sweet malt, corn and some grassiness. Flavor is sweet and biscuity with a nice dry finish. A nice, sessionable brew.

Easy drinking, smooth, and, yes creamy. Pour is a medium gold tending toward yellow with almost white head. Nose is lightly malty and sweet. Flavor follows the nose, with the creaminess coming through.

On tap at Local Eatery and Pub in Westfield IN. Grain and corn aromas that follow right into the taste. The dry corn flavor is really excellent and gives it very Kolsch like taste. Light lemony tartness too. Very light bodied and flavored, and very refreshing.

Can pour very light yellow. Nose could smell the skunk almost as soon as can opened. Sweet malt and perm solution. Taste some sweet malt slight corn. No hop.
