Tallboy can in the Indy Airport. Crisp pale golden pour with a beautiful frothy white head. Nose is sunshiny malt with plain grass and no hops. Taste is malt-forward but only slightly. Crisp and dry with some bread toward the end and very light fruity notes around the edges. Touch of grain but offset bu the golden sunshine. Medium-full body, clean and super refreshing after my flight [def have to watch out for bias here] and great promise from the brewers of one of the best cream ales I’ve head!

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 bjt512 (292) - Athens, Georgia, USA - NOV 19, 2010
Yuk. I tried this 16 oz can at a bar in downtown Indy, and found this to be pale, thin and none too creamy. The wheat and oat make this soft and round in your mouth, but the body is thin and watery, and the flavor fades into an indistinct, pilner-ish mix of old candy, white bread, and other banal flavors from childhood. Possibly a good lawnmower, but nothing I am eager to try again. This brewer offers other, better things to enjoy during your visit to the Crossroads of America.

(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of mustiness, earth, and grass. Flavor of grain, dough, and grass with a moderately dry finish.
2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 tbrink (5) - USA - OCT 26, 2010 does not count
Poured from a can.
Appearance: light straw color with thin almost nonexistent head. Hardly any lacing.
Aroma: malty, bready, with a slight hint of hops somewhere in there.
Taste: malty, gently hopped. Kind of reminds me of a michelob.
Overall: this is a good, almost generic tasting beer that you’d give to a friend that hasn’t experienced craft beers before. Try it at least once.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 drowland (4992) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - OCT 25, 2010
10/24/10. 16oz can. Clear golden pour with a fizzy white head that’s gone instantly. Light grainy aroma and a light, crisp, and fresh flavor that is surprisingly clean and smooth. Impressed when I was expecting to be disappointed.
