COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sunlight Cream Ale is our most approachable beer and is a great introduction to the world of Craft Beer. Cream ale is one of the earliest styles of American beer, but was virtually wiped out by American lager brewers. Our Cream Ale is an all malt beer. Only the finest quality barley, wheat and oats are used to give this beer it’s smooth malt profile which is delicately balanced with American hops and a cool fermentation to give this beer a crisp, clean finish.

Tall boy can served in a Weizen glass. A: Pours a clear yellow color with a one finger height of white head forming on the pour. It recedes quickly to a thin ring. S: Light pale malts, some green grass hops with a touch of sweet corn. T: The lagery flavor profiles are much more assertive in the taste. Some sweet corn adjuncts with pale malts and some light bittering grass. Lagery yeast comes at you in the finish. M: Light bodied with a high carbonation level. Prickly mouthfeel with a sweet malt finish. O: Very solid cream ale. Spotted Cow is a touch better as the lager flavor profiles come out a little more in this beer giving a sweetness that is just ok. Serving type: can

From an old can that was kept in the fridge. Aroma is heavy caramel, which I think is a result of the age. Flavor reflects that too. Not a bad, beer; just not much of a cream ale at this point.

Very blonde. Light golden color with a white head that doesn't last long. Cereal aroma with a hint of malts and grass. Creamy taste with light malt aftertaste. Not bad.

Plain pilsner-like aroma with some lemon rind. Taste is pilsner-like with some lemon juice. Some cereal malt in the finish. I don’t know what is going on, but I remember the sweet cereal malt being really present in this when I had it before.

Can, someplace in Indianapolis I can’t remember. Nothing creamy or tasty here - just lots of plain and uninteresting taste with a bland start and finish.

I dont have a good sense of smell thanks to allergies, so the aroma rating is gonna be off. I'm sure my taste buds are off too, but that being said, this is a pretty tasty beer. It's smooth and easy to drink. If you are new to beers that don't taste like piss water (looking at you Bud and Coors), this is a pretty safe bet for you to like. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

9 apr 2015, tap. Yellow, clear, some steady bubbles. Nose is lager malt and light lemon citrus. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Straw malt and lemon grassy hops and no real bitterness. Okay.
