COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wee Mac is a Scottish style brown ale. Fermented at cooler than normal temperatures to mimic the climate of Scotland. Wee Mac is an easy drinking brown ale that is both smooth and malty wit caramel and chocolate tones. Hops are used sparingly in this beer and serve only to help balance the sweetness of the malt.

16oz can. Rating #68. Clear dark amber, nice toasty aroma, picking up a little smoke as well. Flavor is similar, nice touch of sweetness. Good stuff. (2399)

Draft. From notes. Roasty toffee and light citrus notes. Nothing super special. Kinda weak actualy but still enjoyable.

Received in trade from phisigben, thanks for the opportunity! Pours a crystal clear solid copper brown color with a good sized creamy white head that slowly dissipates, but leaves some spotty lace in its wake. Now this beer is still quite cold, freshly poured after coming out of the "regular" refrigerator, but most of what I’m getting from the aroma is an almost tart fruitiness. As this warms it opens up a little and I get more malt with sweet caramel and toffee, bread, and hints of dark fruit. Taste is mild toffee and caramel up front followed by some tart and dark fruits for the dry finish. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick sugary mouthfeel. This one is a bit weird. There’s a tart almost metallic thing going on the aroma. The body is a bit to thin for the style and the flavor should have more rich caramel/burnt sugar maltiness in it, but it doesn’t. This one kind of falls short of expectations.

Right down the middle Scottish to me. Pours a dark orange. Malt is everywhere you look. Roasted notes predominate here.

Poured from 16oz can, pours a clear light brownish red with a thin white head and no lacing, the aroma is very sweet with a hint of scotch, the front end of the flavor is strong in the malt with some caramel in the finish, very sweet but it works for this one, nice.

Can. Pours clear brown with a small off white head that quickly dissipates The aroma has light caramel but is far from diverse or complex. The taste is sweet caramel, very basic.

Pint can courtesy of StFun – Thanks big J! Muddy brown with a one finger tan head that faded fast. The nose is caramel and faint chocolate. The taste is caramel, dark fruits and light cocoa. Medium bodied. Not great, but happy to try it – thanks again Josh!
