COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wee Mac is a Scottish style brown ale. Fermented at cooler than normal temperatures to mimic the climate of Scotland. Wee Mac is an easy drinking brown ale that is both smooth and malty wit caramel and chocolate tones. Hops are used sparingly in this beer and serve only to help balance the sweetness of the malt.

Can. Pours clear brown with a small off white head that quickly dissipates The aroma has light caramel but is far from diverse or complex. The taste is sweet caramel, very basic.

Draft at Rich Os. Light brown body with a fizzy, off-white head, rapidly diminishing. Raw grain aroma with notes of caramel, roast and toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture and moderate carbonation. A sight tartness in the finish, along with some vinegary notes. Flabby, unclean malts. Lacking the richness of a Scottish ale. Disappointing.

Scottish style brown ale my butt. Straight up malt liquor is more like it. But a good one. Heavy corn flavors. Dusty hops. Oxidized malts with bits of paper, metallic, medium caramels. Light lemon tang. The texture is well done -- effervescent and lightly creamy. No fusels nor apparent alcohol. Weird but solid.

On tap as time bar in Indy. Light body. Slight acortiah ale taste but not much going in. Not bad. But not impressive either. Easy drinking. Good beer to have with a burger.

Right down the middle Scottish to me. Pours a dark orange. Malt is everywhere you look. Roasted notes predominate here.

Tap at Scottys on January 17, 2012. Translucent light brown with some head and spotty lacing. Aroma was mainly malty caramel but had some chocolate. Taste was similar to aroma but was mild and maybe a slight dry finish.

Pint can courtesy of StFun – Thanks big J! Muddy brown with a one finger tan head that faded fast. The nose is caramel and faint chocolate. The taste is caramel, dark fruits and light cocoa. Medium bodied. Not great, but happy to try it – thanks again Josh!

Can courtesy of motortoddhead. Deep brown red with fluffy off-white head. Toasted malt, light caramel, and a touch of plastic. Toasted malt, biscuit, grain, mild fruit punch, with a dry, lightly bitter finish. Pretty light on the palate.
