No. Brown. White head. Sweet malt musty on the nose. Tastes the same. Not pleasant.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can. Pours clear brown with a small off white head that quickly dissipates The aroma has light caramel but is far from diverse or complex. The taste is sweet caramel, very basic.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft pour @ Harry & Izzy’s in Indianapolis. Light drinking dark beer. Good beer. Not something I would seek out.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can. Pours clear brown with off-white head. Smells nutty. Tastes very nutty, slight chocolate, boring. A bit flat, light bodied, lacking flavor and anything remotely exciting. Not worth a dump in the sink, but not worth getting.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rated on 9-05-2009 at Sun King Brewery. This draft beer pours a small ivory head with a short retention, transparent amber body, no visible carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The Aroma is caramel malt and barely a hint of hops. Ditto for the Taste. The Palate is very smooth and this beer is medium bodied. This is a very easy drinking beer and one of my favorite styles, but unfortunately it came up short of having any type of WOW factor.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
From 16oz can.
Pours a hazy brown/copper. Sweet aroma. Sweet malty taste. Scottish ales are not my favorite, but this is pretty good.

Can. No head. Dark brown. Not hoppy or bitter. Not an old chub but a nice change of pace.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Darker brown pour with a beige head. Some peat and smoke come through in the aroma, but its faint. Very light Scottish ale.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A wee hazy, Wee Mac displays reddish brown color and fair head retention. I found the aroma to be a bit chocolately, whereas the flavor is blander than expected, somewhat sweet but with none of the chocolate I hoped for from the smell. The finish is also uneventful.
---Cheers until next time!

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing.
Body is medium brown.
Aroma is lightly malty (caramel, toasted nuts, grain), with notes of metal, grape bubble gum, dirt.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Well, so much for this brewery. As with the pale ale, this is thin, watery, and dirty (surprisingly metallic smelling too...copper pennies galore). Drain pour.
