COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wee Mac is a Scottish style brown ale. Fermented at cooler than normal temperatures to mimic the climate of Scotland. Wee Mac is an easy drinking brown ale that is both smooth and malty wit caramel and chocolate tones. Hops are used sparingly in this beer and serve only to help balance the sweetness of the malt.

No. Brown. White head. Sweet malt musty on the nose. Tastes the same. Not pleasant.

Comes reddish brown with a small tan head. Mild aroma of malt, fruit, and caramel. Taste is similar. Somewhat sweet, but very drinkable. Too much like a brown ale. 1/15

Can, somewhere in Indianapolis I can’t remember. Weak, bland and all-together a bad experience. Would never go down this road again.

On draft at the happy hour of the Staybridge Suites I was staying at (!). Pours dark brown with a bit of tan head. Nose is caramel and light toasted bready malt. Taste is the same--mostly dry but with enough caramel to balance it out and make it super smooth. Nice medium body that doesn’t get in the way yet gives it enough heft. Decent stuff--could drink a lot of this and not realize it.

On tap at Hops & Pie. Clear amber appearance with a beige ring of foam. Mild aroma of peaty malts, earthy notes, light caramel/toffee and a touch of dark fruits. Similar flavor, mildly sweet with a touch of smoky bitterness. Average body, a little thin. OK.

Can, as pictured. Not bad, kinda thin, just malty, caramel, etc. Pretty sweet throughout, not a lot of balance. Ok beer, finely made but nothing special.

On tap, poured into a sampler glass. The aroma is sweet, dark fruit, (raisin and plum) with an undertone of caramel. It’s clear with a malty caramel brown hue and is topped by a dense soap, slightly off-white head retaining a medium thick ring with a dash of a fuzzy surface, and leaves a good amount of dense sheet lace. The taste is a muted, medium sweet with a light bitter touch. The beer is oily with a soft zip carbonation. The medium malty body has a mild roasted character with tones of nuts, toffee, and brown sugar. The finish is surprisingly crisp with a caramel syrup flavor that turns more roasted in the dry aftertaste.

Pretty weak Scottish ale. Muted aromas... Some peat and sweet malt. Flavors are a bit of caramel and banana. Thin and watery.

Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy reddish pour with off white head, aroma brought caramel, toffee, some grass, hints of bread, dough, not a whole lot there. Taste is sweet caramel, bread, biscuit, some earth, touch of grass, finishing sweet.
