COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wee Mac is a Scottish style brown ale. Fermented at cooler than normal temperatures to mimic the climate of Scotland. Wee Mac is an easy drinking brown ale that is both smooth and malty wit caramel and chocolate tones. Hops are used sparingly in this beer and serve only to help balance the sweetness of the malt.

tap at the brewery - Pours light amber-brown with an off-white head. It was a very distinct caramel malt aroma. The flavor is caramel malt and some mild, earthy hops. Itís light bodied and overall a little milder than Iíd like in a Scottish ale. Decent.

16 oz. can from a trade with Sean & Amber. Dark copper in color. Nose is faint caramel and a light fruity type note. Flavor was weak nuts and caramel notes. The body of this brew is real thin. Toffee notes seem stronger when the beer was colder. I donít taste hazelnut or chocolate. For the first time in a long while I enjoyed a beer when it was colder rather them warmer. This isnít badÖ. Just boring.

On tap as time bar in Indy. Light body. Slight acortiah ale taste but not much going in. Not bad. But not impressive either. Easy drinking. Good beer to have with a burger.

Transparent red with a thin beige head that goes quickly. Cola nose with some sugar, light tea, caramel, and fruit. Vanilla-heavy flavor with more caramel, both contrasted by heavy carbonation and the thin body. These characteristics make for an odd experience, one neither rich and satisfying or light and refreshing.

Brown pour with an off white head. Aroma of roasted malts, light. Some alcohol at the finish.

Another rate from the tallboy can. Toffee and caramel nose with some corn and some light smoky ash. Dark copper-chestnut pour with just the slightest hint of ruby,m and a frothy, rocky beige head. Smooth, tastes lightly sweet with smoke and light ash, has caramel and toffee, with very, very faint bitterness and light mineral water quality. Medium body. Sort of a Continental take on a brown ale, Iím afraid it doesnít hold up terribly well.

Draft. Deep amber with no head. Nutty, almond aroma. Malty sweetness, raisin. Underwhelming.
