COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wee Mac is a Scottish style brown ale. Fermented at cooler than normal temperatures to mimic the climate of Scotland. Wee Mac is an easy drinking brown ale that is both smooth and malty wit caramel and chocolate tones. Hops are used sparingly in this beer and serve only to help balance the sweetness of the malt.

Can from a friend. Pours deep brown with a frothy head. The nose is toffy and cocoa, no real hop notes to speak of. On tasting, quite chocolatey, rich and malty overall, Very clean, medium-low carbonation. Light bitterness. Pretty nice overall.

16oz can. Rating #68. Clear dark amber, nice toasty aroma, picking up a little smoke as well. Flavor is similar, nice touch of sweetness. Good stuff. (2399)

Pint can. Pours a dark copper brown with a decent head. Strong caramel and nutty flavor. Both sweet and bitter. Smooth for a Scottish Ale.

Deep mahogany hue. Inviting nose. Malt forward with rich elements of toast, peat and toffee. Wholesomely sweet, but not cloying. Hops are earthy and herbal, delicate and balancing. Not overly exciting, but tasty and well made.

Poured from 16oz can, pours a clear light brownish red with a thin white head and no lacing, the aroma is very sweet with a hint of scotch, the front end of the flavor is strong in the malt with some caramel in the finish, very sweet but it works for this one, nice.

Given to me from some friends from Indy in a 32 oz growler. Definitely easy drinking. Rich in malt characteristics. Not overly sweet. Caramel and nut brown flavors. A bit of spice. Color is a medium dark brown. Rich off white head. I’m a fan. Admittably I just played golf and I’m thirsty as hell, but right now this tastes great.
