COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Wee Mac is a Scottish style brown ale. Fermented at cooler than normal temperatures to mimic the climate of Scotland. Wee Mac is an easy drinking brown ale that is both smooth and malty wit caramel and chocolate tones. Hops are used sparingly in this beer and serve only to help balance the sweetness of the malt.

Like their Sunlight Cream Ale, this beer just doesnít bring a lot to the table. However, the light brown body and small pale white head offers a decent nose and taste. Touches of caramel and oats splash on the tongue with a light to medium body. While Wee Mac is one of their better beers, I can think of over a handful of Scotch ales that put this to shame. Its just a Wee bit off.

Nice! Lots of body and flavor going on. Itís not to heavy, but heavy enough to remind you to take your time... Itís tasty.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a semi-transparent brown with off-white lacing. Smells and tastes sweet and malty with an average mouthfeel. Decent, but not memorable.

Poured from a pint sized can. Notes of fruit, some sulfur, caramel, soft stone fruits. A touch bland.

Draft. Darker brown pour with a beige head. Some peat and smoke come through in the aroma, but its faint. Very light Scottish ale.

Draft pour @ Harry & Izzyís in Indianapolis. Light drinking dark beer. Good beer. Not something I would seek out.

Can shared by Bob at BVeryís - thanks! Light brown pour, slight off white head. Nice malty taste, easy to drink.

Sampled on tap at the brewery. The appearance is darker amber. Light malts and a touch of caramelization. Mouth feel a bit light. This one didnít really do it for me.

Pours a need ruby, nice head that dissolves pretty quickly, aroma is weak, taste is weak, not sweet, a little malt bitterness. But I like the can.
