4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
A really nice hop ale. This is probably my favorite beer here. The hop flavor is persistent, but the beer is quite sessionable. Nice.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft @ Sun Up. Clear light amber with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel and butterscotch mostly with some light citrus and grass. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, light hop bitterness and fruity esters. Medium to light body with average carbonation. Could be an old or off batch, noticeable diacetyl.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sampler. I might actually prefer the cream ale that they offer. This definitely had a sting -- cardboard, harsh on my palate. I didn’t care for this much.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pint at the brewpub. This is a really solid pale ale. It’s clean with assertive hops. Malts are tasteful and not too sticky or heavy. Tastes like grapefruit with a subtle malt sweetness. You know the drill when it comes to a predictable APA. Though this is nothing unique, it is tasty.
