4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This isn’t brewed with cream -- just your standard imperial stout fermented with whole coffee beans. Less like a White Russian and more like a really, really good cup of coffee. Brown like dark chocolate, fading to amber at the edges. Viscosity of coffee and a splash of cream. Silky, tiny-bubbled head the color of latte foam. One of the better coffee beer aromas I’ve experienced: espresso with a dollop of dulce le leche, then milk chocolate and a hint of licorice. A background meatiness emerges as it warms, like well-marbled steak. The flavor is more bean-focused. Sharp coffee, toasted sourdough, earthy and minty hops in the front; smooth cream appears in the finish to round out the bitter edges. Creamy medium-light body, prickly carbonation. Just a bit of alcohol fumes. Extremely drinkable and smooth as the drink it’s named for.

I haven’t had too many "White RIS" beers over all, but this is definitely the best one I have tried. Completely nails that creamy, milky, Kahlua type taste on top of it’s big robust body. Stellar.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Sampled @ AZ Strong Beer Fest. Hershey syrup pour with a tiny mocha head that left a spot or two in the glass. Split vanilla, cocoa dusted Kona coffee beans, milk chocolate, fudge, and cream in the nose. Godiva, Ghirardelli, brownie batter, vanilla, and milk-soaked Oreos in flavor. White chocolate subtleties as well. Rich, complex, decadent...one of the top AZ Imperial Stouts without doubt, particularly minus a barrel treatment. Wow, just wow!

Looks like liquid dark chocolate in a glass. Foamy head. Intoxicating aroma of vanilla beans, dark chocolate, and a slight coffee nose. Drinks as a smooth concoction of vanilla and dark chocolate, with a very slight espresso roast finish. Easily one of my top 3 AZ stouts.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From a growler. Incredible nose of sharp fresh-roasted coffee beans, vanilla, dark chocolate, heavy cream, some black licorice, and a hint of boozy oak. Pours dark brown like really strong coffee. Lovely taste of espresso, vanilla beans, some molasses, and a heavy roasty bitterness on the back end along with a sharp anise finish. Great RIS; well done, Uwe!

This beer is incredible! The last time they had I missed it, but when I saw on Facebook they tapped another keg, I had to get some. It is smooth, chewy and has a ridiculous finish. I would love to see them age this in barrels. If you get the chance to try this, do. It’s that good! Cheers!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a black color with tan head. This beer was crazy good! Aromas of chocolate and sugar. Flavors of sweet milk sugars, chocolate, toffee, and roast sends this one off the charts. Very unexpected from this little brewery.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Growler pours with a clear mahogany body that supports a tan head. The aroma is bug and fat and full of rich dark roasted coffee notes, mild sweet vanilla, more dark roasted coffee and then dark roasted malts near the end of the draw. Nice roastiness. The taste is smooth and full and rich like the nose. I get a pleasing mix of sweet vanilla and dark roasted coffee. It quickly gets into rich an oily slickness by midway and ushers you into a nectar like finish. Great stuff with a pleasing balance between big dark roastiness and sweetness.

Holy hell what a brew! Black color with a chocolate brown head. Creamy dark chocolate, vanilla, hints of coffee. Decadent and remarkable. The best imperial beer brewed in AZ to date.

Shared growler by @thebitterendaz. Dark brown, almost black pour. Nice vanilla aroma with a cocoa and nice vanilla flavor. Damn good.
