This is my preminum strengh mid brown/ruby ale The complex malt bill give this ale a full mouth feel of sweet caramel and toffee, all of which is complimented with generious hop support and a intence bitter-sweet finish. Luxury in a glass, beautifully companies your Sunday dinner or simply on its own.

Cask at The Font, Chorlton. Slightly hazy amber. White cap. Aroma is tangerine, resinous, leafy, varnish. Tastes pretty similar, ending quite herbal and spicy. Has a dry feel for the most part; too dry really for my taste. There’s plenty going on but I wished it coalesced a bit better.

Cask conditioned at Fleetwood Beer Festival ’15. Brown to gold with white head. Initially I found quite a stewed tea note with this, however a malty, dryish bitterness comes through improving the flavour. Some late caramel, some fruit in the finish. An improver.
