Light haze on this gold beer, tidy white head. Smooth palate, light and slightly dry. Sweetish malt with a whisper of bubblegum ester. Mellow citric hops, very mild. Light dry finish. It’s fine!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle from AP Harvey Wines, Coventry. Faintly misted gold with a slim fine collar. Fruit Salad, pine, slight acetone nose. Soft, lean, pine-hinting with weak Fruit Salad streaks, generous bitterness, tempering honey, wafts of booze. Bit empty on the finish. Feels stronger than its ABV. Fine.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: Straw and citrus.
Appearance: Hazy golden body with yeast fleck floating around. Medium white head.
Taste: Soft fruity flavour with a nice biscuity pale malt balance. Light and easy drinking - a good Pale Ale. Slightly peppery finish. Very moreish.
Palate: Thin to medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Very soft carbonation.
Overall: A really solid, well balanced Pale Ale.
