3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Palme (2311) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 22, 2013
On tap @ Crowbar. This is a deep blurry almost cloudy looking peach red beer with a small and side sticking head. Fruity sweet on the aroma with a clear hoppy opinion. It’s average on the carbonation and light oily on the mouthfeel. Really tasty. Sweet and malty yet balanced out with a fruity almost sour hoppy thing. Loads of hops in this, lovely bitter, slightly mouthdrying in the finish. Peaches and cream. I’m really starting to grow found of the beer produced by Sundbytunet. 02.03.2013

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Glouglouburp (5619) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 30, 2012
In short: A well balanced copper IPA with a nice fruity complexity
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Almost clear light copper body topped by a medium beige head with medium retention and leaving lots of lacings on the glass
In long: The moderately hoppy nose has scented fresh pine-tree, citrus fruits and some grass. There is also notes berries in the aroma. Taste starts with a sweet fruity attack that is like a hard barley candy lollipop and an array of fresh red fruits that reminded me of their Red Ale (wild berries, non-sour red cherries, cranberries, blueberries). Then comes a good amount of that is herbal, fruity and with a spicy twist. This one to me tasted like a cranked up version of their Red Ale with extra hops, which is not a bad thing since I liked their Red Ale. Yet another flawless beer rating by me, it is not easy being near flawless like me, but don’t worry, I have flaws too, like when I just lied about being near flawless.

Dark golden to amber color.Malty and hoppy aroma.Medium carbonation. A bit to sweet for my preferences for a IPA.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 tfredvik (650) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 26, 2012
Cloudy amber body with a big, long-lasting, off-white head, excellent lacing. Strong and very sweet fruity and berry aroma with strawberries, peach and mango. Light sweet taste with a medium bitter but still a bit stingy finish. Fruits and berries in the flavours as well, along with some herbs. Medium carbonation and medium body. A nice one, although not as drinkable as I like my IPAs to be.
