2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2013 Rerate 500 ml shared swingtop bottle, at Mandag i Annen, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.6%. Golden colour, large white head. Standard pilsener aroma, not unpleasant, some floral and herbal notes, hints of hay and honey. The flavour is better than last time, a bit sweet, but has also distinct bittering hops throughout. I’m upping it a couple points. Original rating: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar (remaining keg from Øl- og Akevittmessen), Stavanger. Golden colour, moderate white head. Some sweetish malts and hay in the aroma, also hints of damp basement. The flavour seems slightly "unfresh", but with tolerable hops in the finish. Hints of honey. Clearly drinkable, but not exciting.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 ml bottle. Hazy golden, almost clear. Medium off-white head that clings to the glass. Dusty hop aroma. Crisp hoppy bitterness upfront. Malts are there, but the body is quite light. The beer appears as a nice drinkable sessionable lager with a nice grainy complexity. The hops are noble hops with a earthy and slight bitter character. A really nice pilsener.

Big creamy offwhite head. Hazy deep yellow body. Strange, faint mealy earthy aroma with fruity pea notes. Dry-sweetish earthy fruity peas taste with mealy resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish fruity mealy aftertaste with resiny grassy spicy notes. Nice and highly drinkable. Balanced and harmonic. (0.25l draft at brewpub.)

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at Brewpub. Golden colour with a white head. Moderate malty and nice hoppy aroma. It was "difficult" to drink this with the other dark beers there. But some water fixed it. It was a really rich and fresh pils. A crime that this is not comercial available. Rich malt flavour and lovely hoppiness.
